Typhoon_Omi That wasn't the point. If the mouse wo-- It wouldnt. We're talking about a super psychic mega wizard versus the mouse. Meaning they are confronting eachother. This isn't a... "uh oh.. unaware mouse bumps into a nuclear reactor and blows up the world" situation. This is a mouse actively contronting the wizard and the wizard doing the same to the mouse and they both know.

Typhoon_Omi, shut up.
The entire purpose of the tier system is to ignore any wild possibility/freak occurance that may happen. This is an entirely controlled experiment were the base line stats of characters are compared and the ability of them to win is assertained. This does not mean that there isn't some lee way in who is going to win in a fight. It simply means based upon the stats of the characters who is most likely to win.
So shut the ******** up and get over it.

If we're talking JUST the fact that they are confronting one another, than the environment, interference, chance, perhaps arrogance on the mage's part can all play into the mage's eventual death.
What if, for example, the mage DID KILL the low-tier mouse, which caused a demon that kept it as a "pet" to go into a berserk rage and hound the mage, killing the mage utterly? The low-tier mouse indirectly caused the mage's death, and thus, won.
Seriously. This arguement's stale and dead.
