Izumi Hanae Ha ha. My sentences so far have been simplistic because I don't quite trust my knowledge of German... xD;; I see. Well, I said I was half german, and that my mother is the German, while my father is American.

Well, its always good to practice the language. And trust me when I say, the natives are more friendly towards you when you at least TRY to learn to speak their language ^_~
As for getting lost, I doubt it. Most everyone in every country takes English as a second language, they just might not be as good as us in it. Then again, there are some americans that make me think differently.

Well, okay, maybe not in Germany.
But in Japan? COMPLETELY lost. xDD If someone asks me a question in Japanese, I forget almost everything I know.
I don't envy the people having to learn English as a second language... it's bad enough as a first.
