She hesitates. Since Durem, she's ignored her emotional pain. She knows it's not good to push her feelings away, but it's how she's always dealt with them. If something hurts, she ignores it. But saying her hopes aloud is like asking to have them crushed again.
But if I don't say it, will I regret it? I can live with pain, but that kind of regret is a very different thing.
"I never got over what happened in Durem. I understood your decision, and I really couldn't blame you for it. It was so sudden, though, that I couldn't figure out how to forget the way I felt. I still haven't forgotten."
Iri closes her eyes and waits for his answer. Even if I do get hurt again, at least I can say that I was honest about myself.

Painful. That's the best way to describe the look in his eyes.

He pulls on her hand to sweep her into an embrace.
"I tried to stick with it- I owed it to her! But I...I'm still...-"

Iri's eyes open in shock at the sudden movement. Then she feels a sudden, wonderful calm. She wraps her arms around him in response. I missed being in his arms so badly. Is this right, though?
She leans her head against his shoulder. Iri isn't sure if what he'll say next will be good or bad, but she urges him onward anyway. "You're still...?"

All doubt in Iri's mind disappears. That was all she needed to hear. She leans back just enough to look at him. "I love you, too, Reeve."
With happy tears brimming in her eyes, Iri draws Reeve closer and gently kisses his lips.

Reeve meets her kiss and returns it, happily, but on the inside he realises how wonderfully he's just screwed everything up.

Ally was walking down the hall talking to someone laughing.
"yeah I heard she's Sephiroth's student. She's in Neko's office now, i bet you ten dollars she gets kicked in the first day."
"I give her a week tops."She said laughing.
"Why is the freak here anyway?" Ally asked laughing.
"I don't know, but I say we give her a welcoming she'll never forget, she messed with Reeve, and killed people, i say she has to go."
"I don't think that's a very good idea, we will get in trouble instead of her, leave the fighting to her, I rather watch, it has nothing to do with us, let's leave it like that. I mean, maybe she isn't that bad, but for her to be on death row, you don't get that rumor around often." She said sighing.
"I guess you are right. Lets go train for a while."

-=Neko quickly snapped the extended finger back into his hand, and the orb in Mai's lap jerked down with a sudden amount of force, stopping just shy of breaking the bones in her legs, but it was quick enough to cause great pain, and leave no evidence=-
Do I need to reiterate the rules? "I guess" is not an answer that's to the best of your abilities.
Do you understand the rules laid forth, or do you not understand the rules laid forth?

Seph's leg hung lazily from a branch, his glasses up on his brow, eyes closed. He snored softly, then attempted to roll onto his side.
Bad idea.
He flailed wildly, barely catching himself on the branch, staring down at the ground. He sighed some and rolled back on his back, slowly his heart rate.

She said not able to hold the anger in her voice. Her eyes that had been crimson red were now black as she stared at him, but she said nothing now watching him, her nails were now also black as well.
