Its not often that I'm actually enraged by the ending of a series, but School Rumble episode 26 managed to do it.
Apparently someone wasn't getting the ratings necessary to keep the show going, or someone isn't capable of actually planning a plot to fit a set number of episodes, or the whole thing is just a vehicle to push the manga even harder, but there is ABSOLUTELY NO ******** CONCLUSION TO ANY OF A DOZEN PLOTLINES RUNNING...
Harima x Tsukamoto? Unresolved
Harima x Sawachika? Unresolved
Harima x Yakumo? Unresolved
Harima vs Hanai regarding Yakumo? Unresolved
Harima vs Harry? Grudging respect, but still really unresolved.
Tsukamoto x Karasuma? Unresolved
Imadori x Suou? Unresolved
Karen x Imadori? Unresolved
Karen vs Layla? Unresolved
Kentaro x Tsukamoto? Unresolved
Suou vs Layla? Unresolved
And no less than a good handfull of other unresolved pairings, rivalries, and strange plotlines... unresolved.
And no, there is no second season in the works. Episode 26 is indeed the end of the series, even stating such. And I've done a little research looking for more, to no avail.
