Seph shuffled out to the fountain, sneezed again, then sniffed. He sat on the edge and leaned his head out over the water, holding one hand out over the surface, heating it. The steam billowed up into his face, relaxing him and clearing his nostrils.

The crow's beak opens in shock. Iri narrows her eyes. For some reason, this seems significant. "Erm, I'm confused now. Did you find a way to heal yourself at an incredible pace? Or have you been doing some fibbing?"

Reeve says nothing, kneeling to re-tie the bandage. " ...Need me to tie you up, too?"

Now Iri's really suspicious. Reeve could barely stand Iri's presence just the other day, and now he's running to her rescue and confiding in her. Then when she asks a question, he ignores it. Doesn't make one bit of sense.
She pushes it to the side for a moment. "If you mean bandage that wound, I would appreciate it. My attempt wasn't exactly successful. It turned out looking like the work of a kid that got curious with a first aid kit."

Reeve approaches her and begins tending to her injury. " My skills started abou' like that...Let's hope y'don't need more practice."

Byakougan activated on it's own, caused by a sneeze. He groaned, briefly catching sight of Reeve and Iri out in the forest. He remained over the heated fountain.
~Hey, you two.~

"Hello, Seph. How've you been?"
The wing stays perfectly still, allowing Reeve to work. Iri starts to feel a little uncomfortable with his proximity, but nothing changes about her to show it. Instead she goes to work on trying to control a certain part of her emotions. "Can't argue with ya there. Injuring a wing is about the worst thing I can do to myself. I was stupid to fly like that, though, knowing it was punctured."

Reeve seems to be able to sense it. He takes a step back, tying the last knot. "Sometimes y'gotta do what y'gotta do..." ~ Hey, Seph...~

The following sneeze echoed through mindlink to them both.
~Ugh.. Excuse me. I've been better, Iri, but I think this bug is beginning to pass. You should have seen me earlier today!~ He sent the mental equivalent of a smile.
~What are you guys doing, way out there? I'm not interrupting anything, am I?~

The crow utters a sorrowful caw. It feels tension in the air. Iri's distressed, and it has a notion as to why. The bird flaps out of its hole and onto Iri's uninjured wing. It caws once more, looking between the two afterward.
"Heh, I know all about that. And I have a feeling I'll learn much more about it pretty soon." She notices his odd movements. "Something wrong?"
"Bless ya. Bleh, you certainly didn't look well. Might I suggest chicken noodle soup?"

~Thanks. Last time I offered to make anything, it was turned down for something that didn't require cooking, so I'm rather hesitant to turn on a stove. Wouldn't mind making it, would you?~

"You want me to make soup? I could give it a try, but I can't say that I've made it before. I might make you sicker than you are now."
"Actually, he mind linked me, too. Erm," she stares at the ground, not sure of what to say. But she knows she has to do something soon. That constant grip on her emotions is slipping. Talking to him for this long is only giving her time to remember...
"Well, thanks for your help. Crow here would probably be food for the eagles by now if you hadn't nailed that thing."
