I like that article. I've got to admit that I'm guilty of a 'this is the right way to write a list' mentality, but that doesn't change the fact that you can see some really oddball lists do really well, and it's all based on the player style.

Agreed. Another thing that I thought of is that, no matter what I do, I end up falling back into the same sorts of lists a lot, even when I'm trying to put together something kooky and different. It's kinda frustrating at times.

It just takes a lot of playing to give other options an opportunity to come up. For example, I almost always run infantry-heavy armies, but after playing a few games with a Basilisk and a Russ, I'd love to make an armor contribution to my Guard.
