The crossfire sucks. If you want to sink Cap-ships you've got to go with the T-wing or T-97. The T-wing has allot of firepower and is an armored behemoth. The T-97 is quick and agile but poorly shielded for a bomber.
Against cap-ships with good Point Defense, I'd go with the T-wing. Up against ships that have a larger fighter screen the T-97 is better.

Ya, and we're also talking about these being in use by the Bothans. Not a bad choice, but if that's what they're relying on as workhorses, then they're in trouble.
T-Wings are expensive. I could probably buy twenty Predators for a single T-Wing, not including the missle payload.

Eh... It sticks with Bothan tradition. They always tended to love the heavy assault starfigther concept. Thats why their number one starfighter during the Galactic Civil War was the Skipray Blastboat.
Plus the Bothans are merchants as well as warriors and hackers, they got credits to burn.

The Bothan society is all about getting information and how many credits they can get for that. Why do you think the SpyNet is so successful?

Ral Roke The Bothan society is all about getting information and how many credits they can get for that. Why do you think the SpyNet is so successful? Because it just so happens that 70% of the galaxy's best spies are bothans, were bothans, and always will be Bothans, and the fact that they've got an awesome sterotype running for them.

Its a space opera, EK.
Breaking the stereotype is bad. You have to play as a stereotype, otherwise you're just going to ruin the play.
