Iri peaks around the stone fountain. The girl quirks a brow. Last time she was around Reeve, he got all awkward. And he doesn't seem to have noticed her presence yet. She shrugs and turns to face the road again.
About the same time she starts to thinking on her current situation, the crow squawks. Iri grimaces and gives the crow a sour look. "Not in my ear, feather brain."

He squints his eyes and the clouds come together, heavy with thunder and lightning. However, he keeps his voice conversational and light, though the last part is said with acidic contempt.

The crow caws before clamping the paper in its beak.
