kyoskue US Release Date: TBD (To Be Decided) OH NOES! gonk Anyway, it's always nice to see old rivalries patch up, though it'd also be nice to see Mario not get the crap kicked outta him every time a third party character gets revealed too. xd Eh, I found it easy to tell Sonic would be in, I mean, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games anyone? Now it will come out before Brawl, so it's main selling point is still valid: the first game where Mario and Sonic can be found together. Wonder if he'll become a Mario Party/sports game staple now? confused that'd be orgasmic he was

Weeeeeeee, I'm so psyched about this! I don't know why, it's not really important for me to either play or fight Sonic, but I'm so psyched about it anyway - Mario vs Sonic, they are the worlds greatest rivals, for me, an old Nintendo-hag from the SNES days, this is such a nostalgic and unbelievable event. I'm sure anyone who had stopped playing games after the SNES era and have recently come back to gaming and now sees this game will be rushed to the hospital with a heart attack the next minute. *cries of joy* Katie the Artist But is it just gonna be Sonic? Will other characters from that series be playable, or even assist trophies? It's gonna get interesting. I'm quite sure he will get his own stage at least, other than that would just be speculation at this point. I believe it was said that max three guest characters from third-parties would appear, so I doubt another Sega character will become playable - but assist trophies? Maybe, it would be cool though.

Woohoo Sonic in Brawl!!! It isn't really a huge surprise though, most of us knew that he'd be confirmed eventually. But I didn't think it would be so soon! Anyway, he looks like he'll be fun to play as (spin attack!) and we'll be getting some Sonic music and stages, possibly even Assist Trophies.
And the release date better not get pushed back too far... crying

I know what you mean, Smash Bros was meant to be a game where Nintendo's greatest heroes and anti-heroes from all their known and unknown franchises meet for a real decent smash, adding third-party characters sort of defeat the original idea, but it probably can be argued that it never where called Nintendo Smash. But still. However, on the other hand all of this is positive news though, it basically shows (or rather confirms what we already knew) how huge a franchise Smash Bros has become. I would say it's just normal corporate nature for the third parties to want a little piece of Nintendo's biggest franchise - don't think they won't benefit from this. And really for us fans, especially us old-school gamers from the SNES days this is a dream come true. Sonic vs Mario? That fight have been fought between Nintendo and Sega players for ages, now we finally got a decent fighter to fight that battle out in. It's hard for most of us to be frustrated over minor details that these third-party characters are out-of-place when faced with something like this.

Personally, I want creat your own character. heart Luigi's trackion, jigglypuffs rest attack, falco's A down in the air, mario's b forward (cape),
samus's B plasma shoot,
it'd be amazing, especially to see all the different creations

I am thinking Megaman for one of the remaining two, as for the other I am not entirely sure. wait, when did it change to 4? I was sure Sakurai said at the beginning that there were 3 3rd party slots to fill. From what I have heard since the talk about 3rd party characters it has always been four. I might be mistaken, but I am about 0 sure

Since i was the first to say it, i think im going to stick to the fact that i think the next 3rd party character is megaman.
i want the old megaman. not X, or battle network.
just give us the blue spandex and megabuster. then he will be made of pure 100% WIN
