*********** Continued from Captain's Quarters****************** As Destiny and the crewman bore the trunk to the deck, she hoped she was doing the right thing....
In one hand she bore the trunk, in the other, the swords and hat. As they approached the Captain, she led the way to his right side, and set the chest down.
She was decked out in her finest clothes, weapons, and hat. She saluted, and said “ Here is your large spyglass, boxed compass, hat, and two swords. I thought, with what you were planning, you might need an old friend beside you.. or even two. That’s why, she leaned closer to him, so her voice wouldn’t be overheard “ I’m going with you. You appointed me Steward, so that means I’m supposed to look after you, and I can’t do that if you leave me behind. Now, what is our next move?
She waited for him to protest, but the look in Destiny's eyes was one of steely resolve with an iron core.

*she got a panicked look across her face* Captain?!? What are you talking about? *she said the in a short of panicked whisper, but not quite loud enough for the opponents to hear her. She started to catch her breath and looked at the deck sternly. She held back any rush of emotion. She stepped back and fell to the deck, sitting against the only thing stable. She waited for the Boadicea's actions*

-: Calling forward, Kurisutofa beckoned to his bosun. "Mr. John! Ready the longboat and prepare to lower away to starboard. See that my chest is stored beneath the sternsheets next to the tiller - quite hidden." Having kept himself from answering rashly at Destiny's decision to dash into the unknown, Jack looked at the small young woman. "Not.. many people would have said that, Miss Ravenhart. I am touched by your loyalty, more than you'll ever know. Though, I must insist that you stay aboard this ship, Destiny. Do I make myself clear? It is vital to the survival of this ship that you continue your duties here and step in where help is desperatley needed. Soon, the crew ofthis ship will be put through a trial of immense proportions. I want you all to be able to stay together and stay the course. For that, they need you more than I ever will. If it's staying loyal to your duties and to my service, you would do me the greatest honor by staying here umongst those who need you."Clapping a hand on her shoulder, Jack beamed with pride into her eyes. To his other side, Ares had been taken aback. It was no shock seeing as how the responsibilities of command were so very heavy and at this sudden moment it was inevitable what was going to happen. "Lieutenant Ares, you are hence forth named commander of this vessel. The 'Lady Washington' and her Company are in your hands and it hall remain so until my return. As I'm sure you've determined by now, I am going aboard the 'Boadicea' not to surrender the ship, but to give You and the Crew time to escape.
This is our course of action, Commander: My coxswain and bargemen will row me to the 'Boadicea'. As my Seachest and Myself are being piped aboard the Man-of-War - or rather more unceremoniously heaved aboard - the bargemen will return to the Lady immediatley. As they come alongside, take the longboat in tow rather than wasting time in hauling her inboard. Having regained your crewmen, send your guncrews below deck and ready the guns behind closed ports immediatley after I embark upon the 'Boadicea'.
Now, once I am aboard I shall find myself surrounded by not only British Sailors, but also by a Flag-ship's Set of Officers. I'll be heavily guarded by five hundred well trained men. You are not to attempt a rescue mission. Instead, I want someone amongst you to cause a scene - start a farse fire.. have someone act disillusioned... whatever it may be it is fine with me so long as it distracts from your crews' actions. When that is happening, haul open the portlids and run out the guns. Fire one and only one full broadside into the poor 'Boadicea' and then order for the mainsheets and foretop'gallants to be set. As fast as lightening, the Lady needs to be under a full press of canvas and heading Due West. Head out to sea. The brig sails sweetly on a bowline, so try to haul her wind directly in from the larboard stern-quarter. Sail her well and by and I assure you that all will be well.
Now, once you've set well out to sea, I want you to send a dispatch to Governor 'Zammap' Gunn. Just address it to Zammap with the words 'Staying the Course' upon it. Within the envelope, place this note:Quote: Captain Jno. Kurisutofa Aboard 'H.M.S. Boadicea' - Captured Bay of Biscay, Coast of Brittany At Sea Angevina:~- "With the foresight I should like to claim I possess, I have written you this dispatch with the utmost care and diligence. Consider it my last Will and Testament: Being of sound mind and judgement; I, Captain John Kurisutofa herby request that as Viceroy of Isle de Provoka, my estate upon Flints' Bluff and Fiddler's Green Shipyard & Chandlery within Buccaneer Bay, Provoka should be passed onto the use of the Ship's Company of the 'Lady Washington' without question. Upon the 28 Gun Brig's arrival within Provokan waters, the ship is to be guided into port and to take up it's usual berthing within the Port of Provoka. With proper proof of my death, my worldly belongings are to be passed onto those I shall list below. All other belongings are to be auctioned off at the Center of Bridgetown. Heirlooms of any sort shall not be present, aside from one article that is to be addressed in the following statement - Ship's Company:- To Lieutenant Commander Miss Ares, I leave the 28 Gun Brig-of-War H.M.S. 'Lady Washington' & My Large Black Round Brimmed Hat With Plume. To Acting Second Lieutenant Miss Midnight, I leave the Title & Ownership of Flints' Bluff Cottage & my Personal Estate. To Ship's Bosun & Good Friend Mr. John I leave my twin pistols and contents of my Personal Wine Cellar that lies below Flints' Bluff Cottage. To Dr. R. Baxter & His Mate Miss Jaden Kale, I leave my Navigational & Scientific Equipment including my Spyglass Collection that is held upon the 'Lady Washington'. They are to split it up as they see fit. As to my Steward Miss Destiny Ravenhart, I leave my personal diaries, journals & logs in hopes that she may benefit from the knowledge within. I also bestow upon her my prized kukuri hunting knife. As for the rest of the Crew, I leave unto them £22.5 Million Pounds Sterling to split between them. The sum can be drawn at the Bank of Gambino upon my name. Provokans:~- To My Friends Governor Miss Angevina Gunn, I leave the beautiful sloop 'Rescue'. To my particular friend Captain Leon Wickit I leave my Prize-Sword Collection, surrendered unto me by the Captains of Numerous Enemy Vessels. To my aquaintance Vincent Daithes, I should like to leave my vast array of charts. May he find them fruitful in years to come. Anyone not mentioned within this document may be the first to help themselves to what they wish from the aforementioned auction house items. All benefits from the sale of my belongings are to go to restoring the Village of Bridgetown. With the case of belongings having been seen to, I should like to convey my wishes to those who should have the power to carry them out: Governor Angevina Gunn - 'Please see teach Miss Ares all you know about piracy and what it is to be a leader. Get Wickit involved and see that she is made into a proper Captain. Lieutenant Commander Ares - 'If I have been captured or taken, please see to it that the ship is refitted and ready for battle at Fiddler's Green in Provoka. Take Command. Stay the Course. Decide on your plan of action.' If for any reason I am ever found to be still living and of sane mind, the above recording is to be saved to the Provokan Record Books and kept for future reference. It is with my greatest hopes and wishes for you all, that I remain your obiediant servant..." -~:Captain Jno. Kurisutofa:~- Master & Commanding Officer of the 'Lady Washington' & Co. My advice to you is to read over the letter thouroughly. Follow the instructions to the tee and you shall come out of this right as rain. Now, Miss Ares... the Ship is yours, Lieutenant." Taking her by the hand, Jack lifted her gently upon her feet and then paced softly to the taffrail and looked upon the 'Boadicea' once more. Speaking softly, Jack looked to Miss Ares. "Miss Ares; signal to 'Boadicea': Captain Coming Aboard."

*With all preperations complete John calls out to Kurisutofa*
Your longboat awaits sir, and your belongings are safely hidden as your command. I wish you the best my good friend. The many many adventures we endured were well worth with.
*John faces Kurisutofa with a sulute and then looks to Ares*
Captain Ares, what be your orders?

When the Captain placed his hand on her shoulder, and told her to stay with the ship, her eyes suddenly brimmed with tears.. something that had not happened in two centuries.
It has been the highest of honors serving under you Captain. Are you sure you don't need a body servant, or some other such pretense to take me along? I am, after all , a trained assasin.. She paused, then saluted the Captain. I'll do my best sir to do as you have ordered. Fair winds and calm seas Captain, till the next time we meet.

*she turns to John, very suddenly. She was surprised to hear that title put with her name. Finally understanding what it meant to her to have the Captain's approval, she nodded her head.* Um...alright. Let's follow the Captain's plans.... *she looks down at the letter and read the phrase "Last will and testament" over and over. She continues to read the rest of the letter, and nods accordingly, with a determined look about her face.* The Captain's coxswain and bargemen, do whatever he tells you to do. Once you row him aboard the Boadicia, come back double quick. We'll be ready for them then.... *she thinks for a moment that she will be shooting cannons at her dearest old friend, and the Captain she truly looked up to. She pushed back any emotion and got down to business. She looked around to people, to relay the orders she's gotten for the last time.* Gun crew, start preparations for a broadside shot. Only one. Do NOT get over-excited...The rest of the crew should be getting to places where they can easily set the sheets and head us to the West. *she looks at John and smirks* The Captain wants a distraction from the crew's actions....would you be the pirate I be lookin' for?

"I've made a decision...take care...them...crew remains loyal to Miss Ares...Goodbye...Friend."
In a half concious, half delusional state, The Captain's words reached the doctor. At the time he was unable to distinguish them from events in his dreamstate though. Baxter's sleep grew increasingly more restless, he was tossing around furiously. Something would have to be done by the crew or else the ruse would be lost.

"Signal to Flag: Captain coming aboard, Sir!"
Watching as the brig lowered her longboat over the far side of the ship, Admiral Nelson waited with anticipation. Everything was going so smoothly - too smoothly. He knew Jack, too well for his own good and he was sure that at any moment something could and likely would happen.
"There's a boat rounding her stern, Sir. Look at him. Sitting in those sternsheets holding himself as if he was St. Vincent himsel'."
Mowett shut his mouth tight as he felt the harsh glare of the Admiral.
"Mr. Mowett, the only difference between the man there in those sternsheets and the perfect naval officer is tehf ac tthat he shall be clapped in irons. Do you understand. You will pay him your respect.
Now, call all hands and prepare to pipe him aboard."

-: Having turned from the taffrail, Jack patted Ares on the shoulder with a smile. "Keep a weathereye and a fair course, Captain Ares."
Descending into the waist of the ship, he gazed about the Lady with a secretive eye. A wide childish grin creeping over his face, Jack leaned in towards the crew that stood about watching his disembarkment. "Let's give 'em the old disappearing trick, aye? Now, let's be away. I'm sure that their tea is growing cold... and God knows how angery they'll be if their tea gets cold."
Climbing over the starboard rail, Jack hauled himself into the longboat and took his place in the stern alongside the coxswains' seat. Watching as the other men piled into the longboat in a badly played plaugish fashion - some stumbling and shaking, others flinging themselves from the side of the ship and even one managing to plunge into the sea between the ship's side and the gig - Jack shook his head and hauled the drowning man inboard. Tossing the man's soaked strawhat to him with a grimace, Jack sat there as Barret Bonden, the Coxswain's mate ordered for the bowline and sringline to be cast off and the longboat slid away from the side of th ship and wore about the stern of the elegant brig. As they glided under the Lady's stern-transom, Jack glanced up at the cabin windows and swore he'd seen a young female face staring back at him. Tossing it aside as rubbish, he shook it off and looked upon the absolutely bohemoth Seventy-Four. Massive and looming, the 'Boadicea' wreaked with what was likely his impending doom. Though, always the optimist, Jack put on a stern face and watched as the bargemen proceded to bring the boat alongside. :-

*she watched the events transpiring and realized that the ship was hers. She watched as the Captian pulled alongside the ship, and how eagar the other crew was to get them. She decided that this disappearing act was to be the ultimate teaching of Kuristofa. She would make him proud with how well they delivered his wishes. This would be a show for history.*

Destiny forced herself to pull her gaze from the rapidly disapearing longboat. She wiped the two tears from her face, and noticed that she had smudged her disguising coat of ash.
She made her way to her cannon, and checked to see if everything was prepared for the final volley. Giving the cannon a loving pat, she made her way back to where Captain Ares stood.
She turned to Ares, and asked" As your Steward, what are your orders ma'am, other than to prepare for departure? My gun crew stands ready for your command

" We're not going to just throw him to the wolves are we? Even if it is his own request? "
It seemed like madness, pure madness. She only hoped he had some kind of plan other then surrendering so they could get away.
Don't forget about saving yourself...

*she straightened herself* Alright...as Steward, I need you to get your gun crew up here and helping with the getaway. We'll need all the help we can get. As soon as we're set sail, order your gun crew back to the deck, and ready the cannons, just in case. I'm sure we won't need them... *she looks towards Midnight* The Captain gave me those orders as his last. Those are the orders I am to follow, and now with me as the Captain, you are to follow them too. All we can do now is hope he has a plan of his own. Those were his last orders, and I'll follow them to death.
