Tigris snarled and jumped away from him again. She had to deliver the paper, not fight. Turning again, she tried to flee to where her master is.

Espio threw Aegina down in front of Tigris and She landed on her feet, turning around to face Tigris while unsheathing her sword and then pointing it at Tigris. A line of swords shot out of the ground on both sides of Aegina, ready to strike down Tigris if she tried to get past Aegina.
"I'm not sure." Barick answered Aislin and then looked at the reaper. "Yeah, please enlighten us." Barick agreed with Core.

The Reaper sighed. he didnt like having to rely on mortals. "Did any of you see the shooting star earlier?" The Reaper asked. he didnt wait for an answer though. "The "Star" was no star. it was an ancient book, one that should have stayed in space... anyway, long story short, the book has the potential to end the world, enslave mankind, etc. you know, generally bad stuff for you mortals... but its more than that. but in order to know much more, and stop the guy who found that book, we need that page." The Reaper said.

the reaper looked at core, and smiled.he had expected as much."i have just enough power left to trick the beast, but you will have to retrieve the page yourselves. if i touch it again, i dont know that ill be able to maintain myself." the reaper said.

All Hail the Reign of the Ostriches!Let it hereby be announced that:Sanguinius spotted the person placed in front of the beast and her blade wall in front of the tiger that was once Tigris and gave another rush thrusting the spear as soon as he was close enough, hoping one of the attacks would hit enough to be a hindrance to the creature. ...that is all

The Reaper glanced at them all. "Well, can any of you make a barrier?" The Reaper asked, and Leonard groaned, and made his way closer to the rest of the group. "I can..." Leonard said, more a groan than speech. The reaper gave him a look that made his opinion of Leonard's intelligence clear. "anybody OTHER than the man who has a teaspoon of blood in him?" The Reaper asked.

All Hail the Reign of the Ostriches!Let it hereby be announced that:Sanguius felt the teeth clamp down on his leg and grimaced slightly as he felt them dent into his armor a surprising amount. WHatever had made Tigris in to the beast she was now had given her a great deal of power, as the armor was incredibly strong. As the teeth were biting, Sanguinius stabbed down with his spear to make her release or get a good stab into her. ...that is all

Tigris pulled away just as her shoulder was stabbed by the spear. Venom dripped from her mouth as she tried again to bite through his armor.

The Reaper sighed. "Then which of you is the least magically inclined. the page wont be able to affect someone who has no magical affinity." The Reaper said, knowing if they didnt hurry, the beast would escape with the page.
