beer with one of those weird green mint candy things tastes like rotten sausages, or like grolsch...
beer should just be Amstel, 5-7 degrees celsius, 2 fingers of foam on it when tapped. And tapped in 1 shot, not several as the germans do, it makes the foam weaker and allows the CO2 to escape, killing the beer quicker.... And a beer should be consumed in 3 or 4 firm nips, and be swallowed at once, not be rolled over the tongue like wine. And no ice of course.

or we could all just drink vanilla Coke, whic taste 100 times better than almost anything with alcohol, because alcohol tastes like ab-so-lute s**t. And for the record, I have tried more than one kind of alcoholic beverage, whether on purpose or by mistake. (white whine looks like water when your tired and there's not much left in the glass)
I;ve had avid beer drinkers tell me that even they think it tastes not that great either, they just drink it because it lets them get s*-faced.
and Pyro, don't put one of those "In my opinion" tag add-ons. We all know this is an opinion without the help of any red letters.

Sephi's likely to tear you a new one for those comments. hey, to my tounge, alcohol makes the most bitter, awful taste imaginable. It's like eating aspragus, but liquified. Unless he can give me a new tounge (and nose actually) I don't see him changing anything. also, since he lacks the ability to reach his hand in his screen, navigate cyberspace, and come out my screen, I can't see him ripping me a new hole in my body. Though noteably, that would be a kick a** power.

A nice chilled Foster's, Carling, 1664, or, in Maniac's case, Amstel, served with a game of football in a smoke-filled pub, is a refined taste. Surprising, only bitters are "bitter". A beer, in no way, is "bitter".
