Lavableman Wait a minute. Metallica was in the concert? ya I would have preferred Anthrax or Megadeth though, for thrash metal. @ Fish: One song doesn't really make the album heavy though. It just kinda laughs at you and says "Look at what I could have been!" They lyrics are good, but I really think they worked better with the old sound.

You can't just say the whole album sucked, just because you don't like the majority.

Akuyoko Altae Hey guys. I just watched Transformers in theaters. One awesome ******** movie. Srsly. Go see it if you haven't already. surprised Truly a great movie. And they left it open for a sequel O.o even though sequels aren't always that great, but whatever.I know, my family almost left me because I was sitting through the credits. Go Starscream! Woohoo! xd Just as long as Michael Bay has more shiny robots kicking the everliving snot out of each other in a sequel, I'll be happy. wink

Meta_Fish Mrs Nintendo But wouldn't people stop listening to their music if it all had the same sound and feel? Nope. Contrary to what you'd like to believe, if people like something, they'll usually keep taking it for a long time. With video games, with music, with TV, with everything. Not me. For that reason, I have stopped watching all my favourite TV shows. House, Top Model, and all those home designer shows. I like for something different to happen, as long as it works, and I think that what Linkin Park does work. It doesn't sound like any of those crappy emo bands I don't like. Pardon me if any of you like them. But come on.. "wah wah.. I eat my lunch in the bathroom 'cause no one likes me." Wanna know why I like "Hands Held High", it's not all "Woah is me" crap. It's "Wow, Bush is an idiot. Look what all us poor people have to do while the rich get to be lazy and not get their hands dirty". My point is. They still sing about things people care about. It's not "Yo fools, look at all the money I got." or something.

Sauvie Can we agree to disagree on the topic of LP? I said it's all opinion in the first place, but I just hate that someone could say "Oh, Minutes to Midnight is just bad." or anything, because that's their opinion, and what they may not like, other people may. I really do like the album, and if I had extra money (or any money..) I'd buy it.

Fine, whatever. It's not like I'm going to change your mind, and it's not like you're going to change mine. You like the rapping portions of their old stuff, and that's basically nixed, and now it's not as heavy, so you don't like it.

Well, I'm done. I don't want to start repeating myself.
I just think that if you want to state your opinion on something, you better be prepared to back yourself up.
