I don't believe it.
I had been stopping myself from ever going on smash bros dojo so everything that came in the game was a complete surprise and I didn't want to know that sonic was in brawl till the day I bought it and was filled with happiness at the site of him, if he weren't in that would of been ok too.
But today, I think its like any other normal day and I go to the nintendo cult where I find:
"SONIC IN BRAWL, SONIC IN BRAWL, SONIC IN BRAAAAAWWWL!"
I have now decided to not use the internet ever again until Brawl comes out.

Not sure what to think about Sonic in Brawl. Its just. Eh.. His corny lines get on my nerves. Moreso than "BELIEVE IT!"
But once I heard it about him being in Brawl was in shock. xD

I'm definitely surprised Sonic is in there. I didn't know that Japan was having a poll on third party guests, so this was an unexpected, but pleasant, surprise.
I love the internet. Spoilers make me happy. XD I can't wait to know, I have to know what then and there.
But is it just gonna be Sonic? Will other characters from that series be playable, or even assist trophies? It's gonna get interesting.

What does sonic being in brawl mean for us?
Does it mean some kickass sonic stages?
Can we except shadow in it?
How bot knuckes?
Tails?
If we don't have sonic or knuckles or even silver does it mean sonic will have a skin tone to look exactly like them (like how peach has daisy's outfit)
Does it mean we'll have some sonic character assist trophies?
Who's gonna be the next thrid party character? I say megaman. mrgreen

Glad I have your Msn adress ninja I think that Sonic is alone in here, No tails, no Knuckes and for the Love of god no shadow. Maybe alternate attires that are similar to them but there is no way that Sega would get 2 of them in there, when Nintendo wants 3-4 different franchise players... Knuckles would be awesome though

Yamato1 My biggest problem with putting Sonic in Brawl was the idea that he would be either overpowered, or underpowered, and would seem like he was just slapped in. Now, I've been warming up to the idea of Sonic being in Brawl. This actually comes as a pleasant surprise, and I'm glad that all the people who wanted Sonic aren't going to be angry and disappointed now. I even like how they hint at his Final Smash. (With Super Sonic, and all..) Now Megaman.... I can't see that happening at all. At least, not the Megaman you all are wanting. Maybe Megaman EXE. I want the newer megaman thank you mrgreen

Anyway, it's always nice to see old rivalries patch up, though it'd also be nice to see Mario not get the crap kicked outta him every time a third party character gets revealed too. xd
Eh, I found it easy to tell Sonic would be in, I mean, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games anyone? Now it will come out before Brawl, so it's main selling point is still valid: the first game where Mario and Sonic can be found together.
Wonder if he'll become a Mario Party/sports game staple now? confused
