I play with the rule of cool in mind. Yes the Punisher is ineffective. Yes it is expensive.
However, it is a tank with a massive minigun. Same with the Executioner, a tank with a massive plasma cannon. Again, cool.

Mat Lady Blodwynn That Vanquisher looks simple but efficient. One thing to point out is that only Forge World Vanquishers have coaxial weapons, the GW version doesn't have one. crying well rules wise the coax mount just replaces the pintal mount ... this may just be the drink speaking... but since when has ANY IG tank had an autocannon as a pintle weapon...?

my idea is eliminating as many rolls as possible - the less rolls, the less things can go wrong - hence I love Redeemer as it hits multiple models automatically, and allows neither armor save (unless terminators or equivalent) nor cover save to the enemy

Yes, Baneblades and Hellhammers do have coaxial autocannons, but they are Maus tanks of 40k, so they can.

His coax weapon is the Heavy Stubber, and is using pintle rules on it. There are no coax guns in the current 'dex.

Caleidah His coax weapon is the Heavy Stubber, and is using pintle rules on it. There are no coax guns in the current 'dex. COAX is exactly the same as pintal mount. When ou order vanquisher turrets from forgeworld they come with a Coax weapon and they are roughly included in the price for the tank itself when you look in the IA books. All im saying is I put the defensive weapon so my tank commander doesn't have his head out of the hatch with a shoot me sign on him

Sky Talon came in yesterday, it comes with a conversion piece that allows you to attach the flying stem to the bottom of the Venator. Other than that, it's a ten part conversion kit.

Well, I've won 5 consecutive games with a 1000pt IG list at the local store, although the last one involved dropping two of my own pie plates on my command squad in a row, and a mostly-disabled Basilisk chasing Terminators around with a heavy bolter. Thank god they didn't have power fists!
