Yeah, I thought Chris had stood me up. Then there was some unpleasantness when a drunken me said "I love you" and he didn't believe me.

Yeah, I'd been trying to say it for weeks and I didn't have the nerve. I guess I had some liquid courage that night.
The worst part about it is that he didn't believe me because I was drunk and I ended up going into the girl's bathroom like I was in junior high school.
