The outsider (Modern / Forest)

[Duchess Marie]

Kaelyn tossed the fireball playfully into the air, caught it and then let it roll down the length of her back. Once it reached her back hoof, she dropped her hand to call it back. She closed her fingers around the flame and it was gone.

Sword laughed. "That is pretty good. Of course we can show you how to really use it to it's full potential if you want."  

[Duchess Marie]

"I would be honored, Chieftain Sword."

Meanwhile in the human city, Kyle was just getting out of surgery. He was now off the clock and was heading outside to his car. He soon got his phone out to call Zoe.

Zoe heard her phone ringing and stopped grading papers to answer it. She smiled when she saw that Kyle was calling, "hey, you. How was the operation?"

"Hey Zoe. My first operation was a complete success. Not just my talents in human medicine helped but I mixed in centaur healing too. Best combination."  

[Duchess Marie]

"Really? Is the hospital open to that then? What happens if you get a patient that is afraid of you?"  

[Reciter5613]

"They are more accepting centaur aid since the moss lung cure. So what are you doing?"  

[Duchess Marie]

"Grading papers, but I think I never spent this much time on school work when I was a student."  

[Reciter5613]

Kyle laughed. "I can understand that. Maybe you should have a break with me sometime."  

[Duchess Marie]

Zoe stood, stretched and yawned, "what did you have in mind?"  

[Reciter5613]

"Just you and me go have dinner. There is something I wanted to ask you." Kyle said as he held a small with a ring in it.  

[Duchess Marie]

"Sure, I will be out of my t-shirt by the time you get home. See you soon, Kyle." Zoe pulled off her shirt.

"OK, see ya then. Love you." He hung up and started to drive out of the parking lot of the hospital.

Zoe took a rinse in the shower and changed into a nice blue dress. She was expecting a classier place for dinner since they were celebrating Kyle's first surgery. She knew that he had worked really hard to get to where he is now.
