I wonder what type of outfits I'd be able to make with a Hammi hat.

... I've gone through the stores many times. If you're willing to stretch; you can use oranges to match Hammi... but all of the oranges are a lot stronger than the bland creamy tan of Hammi. The only shirt that matches Hammi *well* is the Wingin' it Tan shirt. The rest of the Wingin' it Tan set, however, is a darker, richer brown, and when set up with Hammi, Hammi is very washed-out looking.
There's a pair of pants, the wrinkled brown/orange/tan pants (or something) (currently in Aekea) which are sorta similar in color to Hammi. They're ugly too.
Makes me sad. Which is why I have three different Bammi outfits that I like a lot, and nothing "Hammi" that really satisfies me.

I predict a new store item release very soon. Hopefully with that will come clothes that match the Hammi hat well. In the meantime I guess you could try to use it as a contrast point.

*shrug* I don't think it occurs to them, really. I'm glad that over the past year, there've been items released to match older items like the Ducky; when I got it, there were only a few good yellow items, and even fewer green items.
And Ayuta, Hammi's color isn't strong enough to contrast well. It clashes badly. xp

Perhaps if there were more light neutral color items the Hammi hat would have a place.
