Layla looked at her and sniffed.
"no..I'll be fine....momma doesnt need any more worrying."
Nick got up but was still sore all over.

"Go get a wash cloth and put warm water on it. You have to make your eyes normal.." She sighed.
Hollis sighed, "Stay down." She said, kissing his forehead.

Nick kissed her.
" I don't want to be a burden..." he said. laying back.
Layla did as told and layed down with the washclothe over her eyes, she was asleep moments later form exsaughen.

Mara took the cloth from her eyes and put it in the bathroom.
She sat on the edge of her bed.
Hollis giggled and stroked his cheek, "You won't be.." She said, filling the glass with water again.

Nick sat up and drank it slowly.
Layla rolled over her arms falling from under the sheet. cuts were all over them, some older than others, some looked fresh. They were all over her, on her belly ,legs arms, and chest.

Mara gasped and left the room. She wasn't sure what to do. She just started crying, quietly. She sat on the ground and cried.
Hollis smiled and let him drink.

Layla slept for hours catching up on sleep she had missed for some time now.
nathan woke up and saw her cuts.
"jesus how did no one notice those?"

Mara heard him and looked up. She continued to cry and looked down. She was too scared and confused to answer.

Nick finished and put the glass down.
"see I am better." he said softly than pulled her to his chest wrapping his sore arms around her.

"Shhhh...they aren't deep...some people just use cutting to show their pain...."

Youko recapped to when Thema first told her about herself. I see... she thought.
