My summer's almost over already. emo And the worst part is that I really feel like I've wasted it. We don't get a very long summer vacation here.

It's about two months. That's long, but not long enough for me. :B And today my mom and my sister and I went to a really good restaurant (closer than the library, so we walked) for lunch. They have really good food and my mom said they had "real soda!". I'm still not sure what makes a soda real or not real, but it tasted better than its bottled/canned counterpart (we had Mountain Dew and Pepsi). The family can count on me to never finish my fries, so they took some when I wasn't looking. It was today that I learned that they always used to take my food when I wasn't looking due to the fact that I could never eat it all when I was little. And then we talked about getting a dog. The last time we had a dog was when I was about three or four years old. I was little enough to ride on our dog's back! And I also got an antique fork. It looked really awesome and I wish I had brought my camera so I could show you all how cool it looked. (It had stars on it! surprised ) And my mom said that she used to have those forks with the exact same design when she was little (that fork I had was from the 1950s/60s). My sister saw a really little girl outside the window we were sitting behind (we were sitting at one of those counters with the stools. And they spin!) and was like, "AWWW CUTE WIDDLE BABY PERSON MONSTERTHING" and then my mom and I turned to look. And the girl's dad gave us a funny look. rofl And I'm the slowest eater I know. :D when we were done eating, I took the straw that was in my cup of "REAL SODA!" and we all walked to the store near our house to get a bottle of the not-real stuff. I currently am drinking some of the not-real stuff with a ton of ice and I'm sucking it through the straw I had at the restaurant!
Oh, and YIPPEE!
