The Hegemon ZNK The Hegemon Mike wishes he was the Superintendant. TREKY!First of all, it's spelled "Trekkie" and secondly, how can you not like Star Trek after JJ Abram's movie? It was ******** amazing! And I won't last long anyway, I'm dressed as a red shirt you know. By the way, I finally finished my epic steaming pile of turd known as the English Research Paper. Thank god it's finished. I can't stand Star Trek, I'm sorry Ian. I just can't take it, I've not seen the new movie, but I've seen a few of the first episodes, I just couldn't take it. I felt like smashing my head into a brick wall after watching that show... I feel really bad now.

Why do you feel bad? Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. And frankly I don't care that much about it either way. Although if you started trashing something I really cared about, like Democracy, I'd get on your case.
I recommend giving the new movie a try, it's managed to make a Star Trek fan out of a few Die-Hard non-Star Trek fans. Although I think it's rather interesting that this entire line of conversation sparked from my dressing my character in a "starfleet" uniform.
But if you said you didn't like Halo, I'd ask you what the hell you were doing in this guild.

I prefer Star Wars, myself. >.>
I fell asleep trying to watch an episode or two of Trek... I just couldn't keep myself entertained. I refuse to watch the movie because of it being Star Trek... and the fact that I'm pretty sure it kills whatever storyline it had... like every other movie these days.
To each their own, though.
But yes... on to Halo. I beat Halo Wars my first run through on Legendary. The story is amazing, almost as much as the cinematics. @w@

The thing about the Star Trek movie is that it doesn't kill the original story, it expands and makes it better with superb CGI and acting.
BTW, I was completely and totally Anti-Trek before I saw it, and completely a Star Wars fan.

Well, this one is more of a prequel... which is more on the iffy part for me.
If a friend of mine is showing it to me, I'll give it a shot, but I'm not gonna go out of my way to see it. I had the same attitude about Speed Racer and THERE WAS NEVER A MACH SIX! >.<

I thought it was...like, I thought it detailed the character's lives leading up to their positions in the show...I forgot which season.
I'm not a Star Trek person myself, but I heard this while riding around on trans.

As in I have had a horrible headache as of late, my thoart is soar, and I feel sick at my stomach lately. But, if you recommend it then, I guess I'll watch it. I guess it deserves a shot.

Hmmm... I've never been a Star Trek fan(more of a Star Wars person), but I must say I'm not at all happy about this new Star Trek. No, I haven't seen it yet so I'm not going to bash it about how it's a crappy film. I don't doubt it's a good movie. I'm not a big miffed about these big-time Hollywood directors messing with the classics.
Yeah I can see them trying to introduce Star Trek into a new line of viewers and "bring it back", but I personally think they should just leave it alone, along with other classic films.

IF THE ORIGINAL KIRK THINKS ITS COOL! THEN BOOYAH!
And you know the original Spock comes back in time. Lolz.
Oh yeah, isn't Spock half human?
I have only seen some of the movies, and that's it. Never seen any episodes...
My favorite is when Spock's brother tries to find God lawlz.
Oh yeah, what color is what rank?

The shirt color was related to the duty aboard a Starship. Gold shirts were worn by Command personnel, blue were science and medical, and red were operations.

Halo Historian Drachen, it's not a prequel. I misunderstood the director when he talked on the Colbert Report, then...
