Also: High resistance to one particular element: How would that work?
Electricity, for example.
In D&D standards, a dragonkin, dragon, or dragonborne character like the one I'm planning on entering is IMMUNE to it's own elemental breath weapon type. So a blue dragon is absolutely immune to all electric damage and electric based attacks. Obviously, in this tournament, no one is going to allow that, so I wanted to do an extremely high resistance to electricity.
So would it be like: The dragonkin takes a lightning bolt to its scales, it stills takes some of the heat damage and the concussive blast of the bolt, but none of the electrical side-effects take effect on the dragon?
