"Yeah, I'm getting rid of those. They draw a bit too much attention, I guess. Used to scare off the natives." He smiled softly and did as he was told. "What's up, Doc?" He only wished he had a carrot to nibble at.

Nyl smirked slightly. "So amusing. You know what's up." She sat, too, opposite him, calling up enough ijutsu to seal the wounds on his arm and stomach.

He nodded softly, eying the very deep gash in her shoulder. Memory told him that Nyl wasn't keen on the idea of being ijutsu'ed without prior knowledge. "Mind if I mend your shoulder while you're fixing me up?"

She finished, sliding away from him a bit.
"There's another reason I've been away for such long stretches of time. I...I was trying to learn something new."
Something that most of my students can already do on the most basic level...

Seph nodded his head to the side. She wouldn't be avoiding his offer unless something was up.

Nyl drew in a long breath. "This."
She held out her right hand. Chakra built up in her palm, but instead of the usual purple tint it had, it was almost pure white. Slowly, flinching in anticipation, she held her hand over her left shoulder.
The gash started to close, slowly - and, from the look on Nyl's face, painfully - but it was more than she'd been able to do in any of her lifetimes.

Seph watched Nyl heal herself. "Nyl, great!" He smiled widely and crossed his legs. "What.. I mean.. how?"

It was several minutes before she'd caught her breath enough to answer him.
"...I really don't know. But I've been...working on it for months now. I guess...I don't know, it must be...something about this me." She blinked. "It's weird to talk like that."

"Must be liberating! Keep it up, this means I won't have to watch out for you anymore!" He grinned and winked, but his grin faded as he looked to the frozen body. "They got away.." He said angrily.

"Yeah, I hope so." His eyes narrowed somewhat, then he stood up, moving to the post. He snapped his fingers, and a flame ignited on the mask, causing the jaw to drop. The Ho defense was down, and he torched the post and the mask. "Time to rethink how obvious I make these things.."

Nyl Phairen ((Oh no. We totally painted. I hearby declare Ally's ceiling pastel yellow.)) Just this once - perhaps, oddly, inspired somehow - Nyl abandoned her usual strategy and formed two icy blades of her own, meeting her newest opponent head-on. ((nyl you rock, and she is in the med ward so it should be interesting when she goes back to her room = P)) She woke up the next day a bit relieved that some of the pain had subsided.She was still waiting for her bision to be completely returned to her , and she still had a minor headache. She looked around seeing nothing of interest, and no one around. She knew who had brought her here, and she knew Seph was there too, but she was trying to remember what happened when she was in the forest. THinking about it only made her headache worse, but she didn't really care. She sighed, now more than just Neko knew about this, and they weren't suposed to for the very reason of what she'd be trained in. She was scared of herself, she knew Neko was right with the power destroying her, but she despised her family's jutsus and ways, which was why she hid to everyone but Neko that she frequently and easily could use fire, unless stressed it sorta took on it's own shape and mind hurting her in the process. Ally sat up holding her farehead with her left hand which was filled with sweat. She wanted Neko right now, she wanted to see him at least, even if she couldn't talk to him, Neko was the only one who knew and would understand right now.
