Hey all, I've recently had on my mind an idea for a new thread.
A HvH Fantasy Matchup thread. I can put it in the Arena sub-forum or in the main thread.
I know all of us have the itch to get into a good fight but with our focus on the Main Story it can be difficult to jump into a fight. And with the various threads in the Arena sub-forum I can see why anyone would be hesitant to post there.
But this Fantasy Matchup thread won't be super-serious. We can use this ability generator http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Random and create new characters. Obviously it's a gamble so we'd need to work out some limitations and establish a few rules. But the point of a Fantasy Matchup thread is to have some fun and to keep ourselves active.
Opinions? Ideas? I'd like to hear what y'all think.

I think the idea is fabulous? I love the random generator as well, it would really make us have to stretch out and think about how to use different spells and characters and weapons. Pulls us out of our comfort zone, and lets us have fun with it.
Are you thinking about making a new forum, and then creating a new thread for each fight so that we could go view them more easily? Similar to the arena...but for this instead.

If anyone has been paying attention,
there are riots happening in England,
where my family is from. And my cousin
got trampled and it broke his arm, so I
am in England visiting family. Helping my
grandma with her car that was vandalized.
Forgive me again. Just kinda crazy over here.

I don't know about making a new forum...I'll just have to clean up the Arena that we have. There's little point in making a new one. Do you think it'd be best to make new threads for each fight? Maybe instead of one thread per fight we just make one thread per setting. Make them large and accessible to everyone. That would also reduce the stress of coming up with a setting every single time we fight. It would also help the characters who have very specific and technical powers.

Sorry for my lack of activity, having to help people move the last two days. Although it's not as serious as Skittles problems (Which I hope work themselves out soon) it has left me drained and unable to think of a post. I'm going to go work on a post soon, fair warning I am going to skip us straight to the bar and walk everyone that is supposed to be in the meeting into the bar on my own. So in everyones next post just pick up inside of the bar.
As for the Fantasy Matchup thread, I say we just make two new sub-forums. One to archive all old threads that we don't need and just need to move out of the way, and another to archive single fight threads. The main Fantasy thread could be used to keep track of Win/Loss Ratios, types of matches, the different arena's and all that. When two people go to fight they agree on the setting, rules, etc and then one of them makes a new thread and copy and paste the arena layout from the main thread. Once the fight is finished they let a mod know and we archive it in the Fights Archive sub-forum. So I guess we will need an OOC thread for the Fantasy Match-Up as well.
There's my input on that.
