(Well, Fog's command to get the page is still in effect, and a psychosis inducing page cant be good for anyone to be near, especially when it has such a potent effect as to mutate animals to its purposes... my suggestion? remove the page from the Reaper.)

(*sighs*)
Tigris saw her chance and swiped at the Reaper's weapon, intending to take the page.

All Hail the Reign of the Ostriches! Let it hereby be announced that:At the reaper's suggestion, Sanguinius took his spear and jabbed at one of the links in the chain, trying to slice it....that is all

the Chain, simply jabbed by a spear, did not break, but when Tigris made contact with the page, to claim it, the combination of the page being moved, and the chain remaining still, broke the link the spear was in, and the entire chain snapped like lightning back to the page, then straight into the ground, arcing off somewhere else, energy burning a trail towards the mountains, leaving a perfect track to follow to the main book. the page, cut off from its energy source now, returned to its previous state, simply a page, the aura now stopped as well, due to the energy backlash.
The Reaper sat up painfully, then stopped. painfully? looking himself over, his cloak had stopped flowing. in fact, as he stood, carefully, the cloak itself disintigrated, leaving him in just his pants, his powers drained enough that he could barely keep himself manifested decently. for the time being, he was little better than the mortals around him, until he could recouperate. but he didnt have time for that. he had to destroy the acursed book... but he couldnt touch it. scowling, he looked up to look for the page.

All Hail the Reign of the Ostriches! Let it hereby be announced that:Sanguinius fell past the chain as it snapped back into the book and only managed to stop his motion in time to prevent himself from ramming into the ground. He turned the weapon towards the pursuing tiger and sent another psychic blast....that is all

Tigris jumped away from the people now that she had the page in her grasp.
Core watched without speaking. It was just so fast and strange that he couldn't comprehend what has occurred.

Chiasa stayed close to Core, to protect him if they came this way, but she ws just as confused as he was, so there was really nothing she could do.

Barick tugged at Gab's tail again.
Espio moved next to Aegina so that she would be protected by his light too.

Gab hissed and now that he was wrapped securely around Aislin's shoulders swiped at Barick and snapped his jaws at him.
Aislin felt the dragon's tail tighten around her neck as he tried to keep his balance, She flinched as his hold tightened and as he tried to hurt Barick, "Barick, careful!"

[[when gab changed, his size didn't change, right? and from what i can remember his normal size is of a cat, right?]]
Barick grabbed Gab's body with one hand, trying to use his thumb and index finger to grab his neck.

Mana flinched when the aura receeded. He felt the sharp pain again, the one that had remained even after Espio healed him. Mana didnt say anything as the pain grew, he just stood still, closing his eyes. Mana was trying to use his energy to find what made him hurt.

((A large house cat, but yes.))
Gab managed to twist his head around and clamp on to Barick's finger. When he tasted the blood his eyes started to dim, and his body relaxed. His claw released Aislin, and it became easy to remove him.
Aislin sighed, standing close to Barick, her back still stiff from the feeling of the page's aura, but she was thankful for Gab finally calming.

Tigris avoided Sanguinius's attack and backed from them more, with the page still in her claw.

Barick pulled Gab away from Aislin, not being too bothered about the blood.
