Cassie sprung off the ground and shoved her heel into her sister's side on accident. She winced but kept her eyes on Ketsueki. She rolled up her sleeves and prepared herself to protect both of those related to her by blood.
Shay was willing Thorn to wake up when Cassie's booted foot bruised her ribs. She looked up, about to protest, when she caught sight of Ketsueki. Her eyes widened, there was only one thing on that girl's mind and that was with Shay. She kissed her fingers, pressing them against Thorn's forehead then began to slide away.
Thornessa shook the visions away to reveal the present. She brushed hair away from her eyes and stared at what was going on around her.

Faraday rushed over to the group, "Cassie!"
Kelab sighed, "Because she hasn't done anything wrong..."

Victoria plopped down on the ground and scratched the hair behind her ear. It twitched and she giggled nervously. She slid a knife from its sheath and flipped one of her feet over. She then traced the lines of her boot, scraping out the dirt and grime that had been collected there.
Tali flitted around the sky, watching the argument below her with a cautious eye. Seeing Victoria she swooped down and landed gracefully next to her. She folded her bat-like wings tightly to her back. She smiled and watched Victoria work.
Cassie shifted her weight and raised an eyebrow tentatively. “Yees?” she asked in a quiet voice as Faraday approached.

Cassie’s hand flipped out instinctually and grabbed the cloth. She examined it carefully, noting the sign. “Thanks Faraday.” She paused, letting the wind make a sail of the cloth, “Um… What does it do?” She cast a wary glance at Ketsueki.

Cassie stared at Faraday strangely and waved the cloth again. “Well? What does it do?” Her eyebrow reached new heights and she subtly glanced back behind her. Shay was making an inconspicuous exit. She turned her gaze back to Faraday and waited for her question to be answered.
