Dimitris checked through the door that Griah was ok before sitting down behind the counter flipping pages in his notebook. "Is there anything else you'd like?" He asked A'den.

"Sure." Nodding the fox pulled out a jar of cashews and empties some into a small bowl.

Griah continued sweeping, "Well, I came from the snowy mountains. Used to live with my father but as I got older, I wanted to start a new life, to see more people." She slowly turned and faced Rocky, but avoids eye contact. "So, how do you...y'know poof at places...?"

Rocky removed his sunglasses, revealing his shimmering maroon eyes. "Well. to put it bluntly, I'm a demigod. I am the son of the goddess named Amaterasu. I can go into detail, but I'm not sure if you want to listen~"

Griah's tail stiffened, her eyes fixed on the coffee, holding her broom tight, "d-do you..." she choked, "-have powers that...hurt?"

"Calm down." Dimitris smiled sitting down at a different table facing off the patio, looking out to the street. "I was, but not too long. Sorry if I startled you." Adjusting his glasses the fox open his juice.

"Excuse me..." Griah heads back inside the café to the far end and places her broom inside the closet, and walks back out to the patio. She stands near the entrance with hands folded. She bit her lip, "What about you, Dimitris? I mean...where are you from...?".

Kai walked towards the cafe to get some breakfast when he noticed Dimitris talking to a cute little skunk on the patio. He walked up greeted the two. "Hey Dimitris, who's the new girl?"

"Me I'm just some guy from Connecticut, America's second least interesting place." He chuckled looking back to Griah, his ears twitching a bit. "Hey Kai, morning." He waved from his seat before getting up. "Griah meet Kai, another employee of the cafe here."
