Eight foot tall, bronzish-reddish suit of armor, ten chains trailing along the ground and two more concealed within it's back to pick up his body and place it inside the protection chamber built inside.

Where would be the best place to create an artificial life form? I planned on having the void as the area where I would begin to draw the energies together into a physical form, with a real world mage or mages performing a ritual. Believing they are creating the perfect weapon to use against the world, they end up being annihilated by their creation.
Is that a good place to begin?
