I disagree, but ah well.
I think the electoral college is an odd system, because you are right that it does supersede the actual votes of the populace.

My views are rarely popular . . . or common.

I'm pretty sure Carlin's stance is actually more common, as, being conservative, my views are ever-shrinking in modern society. But, eh...
So, any word from that prospective job?

They are not returning my calls, so I am fairly certain they not only will not be hiring me (despite my career specific education and clear histories), but they won't even tell me why not.
Has not been a good day.

I'm sorry about that. I hate when companies are so uncommunicative; it's quite unprofessional (at least rude/discourteous), but so many do it, even after they've interviewed.

True, ninjas and pirates seem to be opposed for some reason. xp

I prefer ninjas over pirates as well.
Johnny Depp is complicated for me. I love some of his roles, but I also don't care for seeing the same character in so many works. Some of that is Burton's fault, though, as Burton's been pretty lackluster as of late.

I won't deny he does the "loner" role well. I have trouble in that virtually every role is in some way that role. Usually with a goofy hat.
I also cannot blame Burton alone, as Depp could pick and choose who he wants to work with, and he keeps coming back.

Ah, he's getting a move soon, right?
Did you ever watch the original X Files? I've been enjoying the new mini-season.
