Rei nodded, looking down at a Poké Ball.

"I'll be right back, then," he said with a hollow voice. He walked back to the chapel and ordered Cryogonal to do a final freezing blast on the chilled bodies before recalling him and heading back to Maddy.

"How's your hand?" he asked the Aqua leader upon his return.

Maddy shrugged and flexed the fingers on her hand. The paralysis had worn off fairly fast, but it the hand was still a little sore.
"It functions. Might be sore for a few days, though." She sighed. "Did you get hit at all last night?"
She was glad that no one had seemed to sustain any terrible injuries last night. She knew that the citizens of Coumarine City sure did.

After delivering the kids and their mother to a group of rescue workers, Caleb started leaving again before they could ask questions. He had barely turned the corner up the street when a hand landed on his shoulder.

"Hey bro..." came an all too familiar voice.

Caleb quickly spun around seeing his sister standing there in rescue worker gear. "What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I could ask you the same question. Looks like you're hanging a different aray of friends today...." she said, suddenly reaching out and rubbing his Noibat on the the back with her middle and index finger. The Noibat looked ready to protest, but then suddenly calmed down and closed her eyes. Caleb's Lairon hid behind him. There was a rustling sound behind Caleb. Then the shadow that loomed over them. He turned to see his Gyarados there. "We're here helping put out fires and looking for people that need help," she added.

"That's great...well I'm just leavin-" he began to answer. His Gyarados blocked the way with its tail.

"You staying at home again tonight?" his sister asked, folding her arms.

"Probably..."

"What about Team Aqua?" she asked suddenly.

He jumped. "W-wha? How did you-"

She rolled her eyes, "you expected me not to find out when I'm the one that cleans up your room for you when you're not home? There was an opened box and a flyer hiding under your bed genius."

Caleb pursed his lips. He knew he had been forgetting something. "Well you don't need to worry. They're planning on leaving Kalos soon and I won't be joining. I'm staying here in Kalos. Probably better to stick around anyways. They're going to need all the help they can get here in Cou-"

"OH HELL NO!" his sister shouted.

Caleb's eyes grew huge. "Hey not so lou-"

"You're going to help here in Coumarine and then what? Stay in your room all day again? I don't think so!" she said.

"B-but you...and G-grandma-"

"Kids go on a journey all the time...it said so on T.V.!" she mimicked their grandmother's voice as best as she could possibly muster. "She was a bit concerned with the fact that you took off without saying anything...but she couldn't be happier about it. Won't stop bragging about it to all her friends. I can look after Grandma...and you can keep sending your water pokemon to the aquarium for me to look after. Don't worry about me. I'll be doing just fine. I'll be helping out with Coumarine and I know for sure that I'd do a better job with it than you would." She threw up her arms exasperatedly. "Throwing away such an opportunity to just up and travel to other regions...kids younger than you would just jump at the chance."

Caleb sighed and rubbed the back of his head. Then the message from Misery popped in his head. "Ah...well..."

His sister raised an eyebrow at him. "I'm assuming your friends are around as well...I'll help you find them."

Before he could protest, his sister started dragging him along down the street.

Maddy frowned at Dark, went to say something, but stopped herself in her tracks. She sighed and reached into her jacket, lighting up another smoke.
She was happy to see him, but she was still worried that Dark was unhappy with her decision. It was looming over her, like some dark cloud.
"I guess we've done all we can here now..." She muttered, taking a draw from her cigarette. She turned to look out at the ocean. She half expected to see the ship from last night floating on the horizon, but it was nowhere to be seen.
She sighed once more.

Rei frowned at Michael's remark.

"I don't know about you, but I find it hard to smile knowing that the ones responsible for all this destruction are still out there, doing the same thing to other cities." He shifted his weight and leaned against a broken wall.

"I don't think I'll be satisfied until those people are stopped. Their callous disregard for life is deplorable." He turned to face Dark.

"Any info on the organization?"

Michael's expression changed to one of complete serious. "Rei one thing I said earlier is that those assholes are gonna pay for attackin' my team. I am still pissed off about not bein' there to help last night, but from what I heard, this team Plasma is gonna regret it as soon as I get my hands around their necks I am gonna murder them. But you still have to look at the glass as if it is half full."

"Well that's a shame. Offers always open." He gives a weak smile to Rene before he goes on to brief the group.
"Team Plasma." He begins, looking at Rei before pulling a small folder out of his pocket. He opens it up to reveal a few documents and a bunch of pictures, mostly of them standing on podiums preaching. A few show them stealing Pokemon and one is of their ship. He hands the folder to Rei.
"They're an eco-terrorist group, big shock. Their gimmick is saying that all Pokemon should be free and live in the wild. Their real goal is to be the last remaining trainers so they're the only strong people left." He lights up a smoke and looks at Maddy.
"They've been hitting coastal cities on their way back to their main region, Unova. It was an unknown that they had a legendary on their side... My orders are to go in and shut them down permanently. I'm to go undercover in Aqua and take down Plasma as Team Aqua is expected to be marching on Plasma shortly. Their past experiences with Magma and Flare have deemed them the more favorable side to take as even legendaries seem to flock towards them."
He yawns and scratches his head. "So, you guys looking for a new member?"

Michael was listening but decided to step away so he could have a cigarette. He stepped away and continued to listen, and he thought he heard wrong but decided to ask. "Hey Captain I thought Dark was already a member of the Team?"
