*throws a baking-powder bomb spiked with vinegar essence in Sing's face* xd
(Note: Baking-powder bomb = baking-powder + hot water. Can be spiked with other culinary essences for smell or other purpose.)

Whaddaya mean 'legal'? It's the simpliest kind of bomb in existance! It's just a matter of using enough baking-powder in relation to the amount of water you use, mixed into some sort of easy-opening shell/box, shake some and when the newly made bomb hits something with a bit of force it should open and spit out its content on the victim. (Please note that you can't wait too long with throwing the bomb or it might blow up in your hand.)
The secret behind this bomb is that baking-powder swells in hot water(or dough in the oven), thus creating a minor 'explosion' since it swells to a larger body than the container can contain. Also please note that this is a rather sticky and a bit insecure kind of bomb and is viritually useless on a real battlefield. It's good for pranks though wink
PS: I'm mainly taking this from memory so some minor details might be a little off, and I haven't made a pure baking-powder and water bomb since I was very little.

Isn't that baking soda and vinegar? The baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and vinegar (acetic acid) react to form carbonic acid, carbon dioxide, water, and sodium ions. The reaction is quick, but not too explosion-ish. It just makes a whole mess of the aforementioned products.
I've never heard of baking powder reacting with water.
I have heard of pure sodium reacting with water. THAT is a huge explosion, and the result is sodium hydroxide, a nasty, painful base. xD We did that one in chemistry and there was fire and noise and smoke. It was TEH COOL.
And thanks, Sing. I likeys my outfit too. =D

I likeys my outfit too. =D *cries* You're making me miss chemistry horribly, and I had such a fun teacher in high school too crying But I'm not going to discuss the subject any further simply because I don't know what the chemical substances's are called in English and my dictionary ain't of much help. I guess baking soda and baking-powder is about the same thing, my dictionary said the latter so that's why I used it. Basically it's the substance that makes cakes go fluffy in the oven, and that's all I care about. I once forgot to add it to a dough of muffins and the muffins in question turned out quite... compact sweatdrop
