Tigerfang padded into camp, her eyes narrowed and her ears flattened against her head. She had since recovered from her previous injuries, and she was now as strong as ever. Her muscles ever the stronger, her claws ever the sharper, and her heart ever the colder. She could take on anything that came her way, be it badger, fox, or twoleg. To her, the world was her oyster...a solitary, lonely oyster, but an oyster nonetheless.
But along with her feelings of strength there was also a feeling of...did she dare acknowledge it? No...best to lock emotions up than to display them for all to see. No, she would keep quiet...always best to just stay silent.
She blinked slowly, her green eyes flashing brightly in the dim light. She headed over to her solitary part of camp, and sat down comfortably, ready to either sit there contentedly or kill anyone or disturbed her. Either choice seemed plausible.

Though I made up different stories for my cats. Eagle was hit by a car and taken to a vet, while Raven followed a pretty she-cat kittypet to her home blaugh )
[Eaglesoar flattened his ears as he padded out of the warrior's den, shaking moss from his pelt. One simple glance at him made it more than clear that he was feeling moody. Then again, he always seemed to be moody. As he passed Puresun's empty nest, he vaguely wondered where the small fold-eared she-cat had gone. Last time she disappeared was when she was taken by twolegs...well, it has only been one day, so probably nothing to worry about. He didn't want Lavenderstar to worry about anything unnecessary right now, his leader had enough on her paws.
As he padded towards the forest to hunt (most likely unsuccessful, should he add), a strangely familiar, yet somehow distant scent caught his nose. It was a scent he had told himself to forget, but never could...he had pushed it to the very back of his mind, but catching a wisp of it only caused his chest to give a strange twinge.]
Forget it mousebrain, she's long gone and never coming back.
[He mentally scolded himself before continuing on his way with a brisk trot...until a familiar tabby pelt caught his attention, in an isolated part of the camp. That familiar gray mackeral tabby pelt, those cold, piercing eyes, and that dangerous air around her...everything was the same. Eaglesoar slowly padded towards her, his green eyes wide with disbelief. Could it possibly be...?]
"T-Tiger -"
[His voice caught in his throat before he could finish the she-cat's name. The most important cat in his life, and the she-cat who managed to hold a space in his heart even after so many moons. But his eyes held something...was it disbelief? Shock? If it was, what was he so surprised about? Her heart sank as an alarming thought entered her mind. Did he finally realize how incredibly...not attractive she was? The scars, the crooked smile, the cold eyes....did he finally realize it?
"Eaglesoar!" she said, relishing the feel of his name gracing her tongue. "What's the matter.....?"

[No, it simply wasn't possible. She had...disappeared, didn't she? Vanished, and the whole clan had believed that she was dead. How then, how? He snapped out of his trance when Tigerfang called out his name, bounding forwards and closing the distance between them in two leaps, brushing against her gently and pushing his nose into her fur as if he couldn't get enough of her scent.]
"Tigerfang, I don't believe it, you're still alive...I believed, I always believed, no matter what others said, I still..."
[He murmured into her fur, his eyes tightly closed, wanting to treasure this moment. He always believed...and it seemed that his perseverance had paid off.]
"Where've you been all these moons, these few seasons? We all thought you were dead...what happened?"
He asked as he lifted his head to gaze into her eyes, his eyes filled with wonder, joy and...something else that he didn't want to admit. He swore a silent vow to himself, she had been taken away from him once before but she had returned to him. [ I was actually beginning to slip into slumber when I felt him approach. I didn't react when he pressed his nose into my cheek. I struggled to maintain steady breathing.
As he left, I felt a warmth fill me. Someone so cold and alone...I had brought him something he hadn't had! Another pang of wanting to help him filled me. I wanted to fix things, help him, make him happy...someone so broken and unhappy, to see them happy again...! Even if it wasn't my place!
Oh, bother. Last time I had tried to "fix" somone I'd ended up pregnant. Maybe it was best to leave it alone...
I twitched my nose, letting out an inward sigh, and fell into slumber.

I slowly opened my eyes, bewildered once more about where I was. Usually, I could feel my brother's warm fur next to me in our adjacent nests, but the space around me was empty and cold.
I jumped to my feet, fur fluffing out. Had there been an attack?! Did I sleep through it?!
My wide eyes slowly swept the room, and everything came flooding back.
Oh.
Right.
I relaxed, my muscles unstiffening, and I marked how my head hadn't spun from jumping up. I was in much better condition after a good night's sleep in a warm den.
Well, the den wasn't warm per say, but I was a NightClan cat and could thus tolerate chilly winds. The caves around us were considerably colder than such, and thus this den was warm by my standards.
I stomped proudly outside the den, peeking over the lake for the phantom with my tail up.]
"Hellooooo? Phantooom?" I mrowed proudly. "I'm up now and much better. We can head back anytime you like."
[I turned and glanced back inside the den, searching for him.]
"Never told me your real name, anyhow, otherwise I'm sure you'd respond to it quicker," I muttered to myself cheerfully, nose twitching as I sniffed for his scent.

But Tigerfang's smiled faltered, and she looked at him with confused green eyes, furrowing her brow as she tried to comprehend what he had just said. Still alive? Seasons? She had merely taken a small nap and dozed off for a few hours...right?]
Staring into eyes, she blinked a few times, and whispered, "Dead? No, I...I..."
[She let her voice trail off, trying to fight back hot tears. Was she really gone for that long? What happened? The last thing she remembered was going down for a nap...did she really abandon her Clan? Did she really abandon Eaglesoar? The mere thought caused to let out a quiet squeak of sadness and disbelief.]

Half of him was worried that Nightclan would come storming into his hiding place any moment, while the other half of him was unwilling to fall asleep in front of another cat. To him, sleep was when he was the most vulnerable, and he most definitely was not willing to show any vulnerability of himself to another cat.]

However, his black pelt blended so well with the walls of the cave that it wasn't surprising if he was hard to spot even within close distance.]
"Come, Puresun."
His voice seemed to sound from right behind her. He sat right by his log, bobbing gently on the lake as he awaited for her to get on, like any gentleman should. Nothing in his low tenor voice betrayed any emotions from the previous night, it was as if he had pushed them aside and decided to ignore them. As much as he longed for the company of another cat, it was better if Puresun returned to Nightclan and forgot about his existence...and let the legend stay a legend.]
"I...don't have a name, I never needed one. A name is unneeded since no one would call for me anyway. You can call me Phantom if you like."
He meowed in answer to her question, deciding not to tell her that her own mother had named him "Phantomkit". Since Lavenderstar left him alone, he had since disregarded the ending of his name, calling himself "the Phantom" instead. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬

[He asked hesitantly, seeing her expression of disbelief, as if she couldn't believe what he just said. Was if possible that she was taken by some twoleg? Or maybe...no, it wasn't possible, otherwise why would she come back if she deserted Nightclan? He mentally slapped himself for having even such a thought. [She all of the sudden snapped her head up in alarm, her eyes wide with shame. Did Eaglesoar think she abandoned NightClan? Deserted them? Never, ever in her life, would she ever abandon her Clan...not even if she found out that she was a half-clanner...or even, even if she was to bear kits that were half-clanners.]
"I-I don't know..." she said slowly, her eyes trailing past Eaglesoar. "I thought I went this out this morning for a doze in the forest for a few hours and then...then I came back, didn't I? "
Maybe he's only kidding...
She put on a shaky, crooked smile, and mewed nervously as she put her paw out to playfully bat his ear, "You're joking now, a-aren't you?..." Her face grew more serious and sorrowful as she pleaded with him desperately, "Please tell me you're joking..."

Turning on my heel as she disappeared, I trotted the other way and slunk into the bushes, wriggling my haunches to fit underneath the small gap. Shaking out my pelt, I sniffed around and tried to concentrate on keeping my pawsteps silent and myself hidden. Catching Puresun's scent, I looked around and sank down, slowly slinking foward. The silence of the forest gave me plenty of time alone with my thoughts, which was a horrible experience. First, images of my mother's face would haunt me, taunting me with her beautiful eyes, her gentle look, then, my kithood would reemerge, leaving me with nothing but memories of solitude and plenty of the other kits whispering behind my back. Finally, my father's figure would loom in front of me, his hateful looks and sneers would ring in my ears.
'Stupid kit, I'm not your father. Get away.'
I had a feeling that would stay with me for the rest of my life. His dark eyes, dark fur, large stature. Before he spoke to me, he was everything I dreamed of being when I got older. He was my idol. Now, I hated everything about him. Spotting a pile of moss, I snarled loudly and ran forward, paws slamming down on the moss, ripping and tearing. I had never wanted to hurt something more than him. Sighing, I looked down and continued plodding on, not bothering to find Puresun's scent. It had gone stale anyways, dropping off suddenly. Dropping to the ground, I closed my eyes and fell asleep, too exhausted to carry on
