Are you sure Heather hasn't been turned into a zombie and she was just feeling hungry? ninja You never know about these things..

I am in a somewhat celebratory mood.
I got test results back & visited the doc. Turns out there was an anomaly in the first tests due to lab errors & my having not been properly prepared – I needed to be off all drugs and supplements for a week and fasted for 24+ hours, I was only fasted and for only 14 or so hours. Long story short, my disorder's downgraded to something a lot less severe. Basically there are a number of markers and factors that are needed for the diagnosis, but two were false, so instead of my body not handling hydration on the cellular level, it does not handle it on the organ/bodily level. It needs the same treatment, but lacks the degenerative component because I am not developing these patches of cells that don't function right in terms of hydration and essentially self-dessicate, so I don't run as many the organ failure risks – only kidney, liver, and intestines really and I have been assured that those are detectable before they get to a failure point and things can be done. I gained the possibility of a full length life today. :')
So what is a good celebration food? Mexican coffee and dulce de leche cake?

It also has the bonus that when those two are not in the picture, the cumulative part can work in my favor and if nothing is dehydrating me, I can cumulatively rehydrate. Kind of like filling a bathtub with the drain fully open versus the drain slightly obstructed - slightly more is retained than is lost and over time the tub eventually fills despite using a swimming pool's worth of water to do so.
I still can't have chocolate or much with oxylate though.
*Quickly noms out the oxylicious parts of the cake before anyone can take it away from him.* mrgreen
It's still going to be hard, keep me fatigued and messed up, more than likely out of the workforce, but it's not going to kill me and that is immensely relieving.
*Stirs his whipped cream into his coffee and coos in contentment.*
