tch... *shrugs* Beats me what's got her so pissed off. She asked if Ryzan and I "took turns", I said that isn't necessary, and apparently she figured that was arguing rather than looking at it as an explanation. rolleyes

She sips her coffee and looks at TES.
"Well, I know you're gonna be heading out to go downstairs soon, so I'll forego the discussion about us being siblings and whatnot. I'm sure you were just as surprised as I was when you found out."
She looks down at the bar and swirls her coffee. "Kind of weird, finding out I have a brother after all these years of being alone with just my mother."

oh... right... the siblings thing stare Yeah, I was informed. I wasn't sure whether to be more shocked that you're my baby sister or the fact that Ryzan knew about my father for a few hundred years and never told me. Something tells me that Draa probably took it a lot harder.

As for good ol' dad rolleyes , I probably know just about as much about him as you do... which is pretty much nothing. Can't say that I care to, either. He wasn't there for all these centuries. He may as well not even exist.

She snorts when TES mentions Draa's dilemma and then sighs.
"It's just....well, apparently he knew my mom was pregnant. I just wonder if he ever wonders if she had a girl or a boy, or if he even cared. Mom certainly seemed to think so...to hear her talk, he hung the moon and stars as far as she's concerned."

er... well... Ryzan -did- tell you "dad" was an enchanter, right? Stealing hearts is sort of what they do. You ever wonder how Ry was able to get in so good with the ladies here even despite trying to kill one of you.... twice!? A good enchanter can convince you of pretty much anything.

"So, he's an enchanter, yeah, I knew all about that. But I guess I just wonder if he ever thinks about the children he's sired....or if he just doesn't care one way or the other."
She sips her coffee and then giggles.
"Surely you knew Ryzan was an enchanter when ya'll got married, didn't you?"

For all we know, he could have more children than can even be counted stare If they all take after their mothers like you and I did, no one would even know they were half-breeds.
Also, just knowing someone is an enchanter doesn't make you immune to their manipulation. You might be a bit more wary if you know exactly what being an enchanter means, but definitely not immune to their tricks. Of course... I also knew Ryzan -before- he was an enchanter. It was definitely the best class for him, though. Trying to be a rogue didn't work out so well for him...
*glances over at the couch where Ryzan is sleeping*
Well, I think it's way past both our bed times.
*gives katana a slight wave, then goes and picks Ryzan up off the couch, carrying him into the office. It takes a bit of maneuvering to get the security scans done, but once that's finished, he heads down the stairs. By the time he gets to their quarters, Ryzan has awaken enough to stand on his own while the door is opened, but as soon as they reach the bedroom, he just flops down on the bed. Tes helps him out of his clothes and takes off his own "uniform" afterward and tries to get some rest*

She waves at TES as he leaves and she sits there sipping her coffee. More confused than ever about her lineage, she sighs. She might as well face the fact that her absent father probably doesn't know or care that she exists. And, considering the past that she and TES shares, it will probably be a long time before they can even have a sibling like relationship.
She finishes her coffee and then leaves the bar, heading out for the afternoon for the clan meeting.

Coming back from the clan meet up, she stops by her quarters to shed some of the baseball uniform and change into her sneakers. Comfortably dressed, she heads up to the bar and debates on what to drink once she gets behind the bar.

She decides to make a pitcher of margaritas. Once she has them mixed, she grabs a glass, rims it with salt and pours herself a drink. Placing the pitcher in front of her usual seat, she makes her way around and takes a seat at the bar.
