Lt. Brookman
It is the quickest way, though I can imagine Marines going out there and doing it by hand with hedge clippers and machetes.
Or Catachans!

There is literally NOTHING new to it, so unless you like that side armour THAT much to spend £20+ on a new one, have a look on eBay for an old one instead. razz

I'm not fond of purchasing pre-built kits that are most of the time very poorly painted as well. Not to mention the scams that place has going! talk2hand

I'll buy one, regardless of what people might say or think, I need artillery support so unless I can get a Griffon somewhere I'm sticking with it.

But you're spending 5-10 pounds more than on the old one, and somehow managing to get less stuff out of it.

This guy pretty much sums it up.

Quote for today: (might be misquoted, citing from memory)
The victory doesn"t always lie with the big guns, but if we rest in front of them, then we are surely lost.
Basilisk is good for lobbing S9 ap3 pie plates at enemies, trust me. My tacticals hate it - they have to get into cover thus bunching together for perfect target to cover(no pun intended!) with said plate.

... What's a 'Daisy Cutter'?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BLU-82

In a nutshell is it ordnance designed to defoliate drop zones and create clearings for choppers.

It also works well for clearing minefields and... err... neutralizing bunkers. : 3

And for making butter spreadable.

The new kits are easier to assemble, I believe, than the old ones? I'll likely get one eventually either way. Basilisks I think are one of those thanks you need to put together yourself to be happy with its construction.

I'd really like a pair of Griffons, a useful tank that I've really fallen in love with, a pity though that GW has discontinued the metal parts for it. crying

if you need a basi now, i would suggest buying the cheaper old one while theyare still on shelves at GW before the new one is released, i think this pushback is a god send for people who actually want one, as the new one has the same stuff, for more money!
