Argh, trying not to stress ouuuttttttttt. xD
Need to look up shiz tonight in the catalog and apply for art department and business minorrrr... to know what classes I'm interested in/need to take.
Cuz I need permission to take art classes, which suxxors.
And job. Going to have to go around on my bike and just apply at places. Probably going to do that tomorrow...
So I likely won't be on until later. Today's too busy. x_x
Get me a notebook and just go from like, place to place. Like some sort of crazy person. Go up and down the road. :3
I need to save up enough money to be able to pay for the rest of my classes.. I have a grant but I'm still $1000 short, generally.
Argh I really hope my cousin buys that place because it will be SUCH a load off to not have to worry about being kicked out of my apartment because I have no money.
I need a job by the end of the week
Either that or get a credit card and start going at it.

Don't put it off too long Cassy, or you'll run out of money before you can say "I'll just wait until _." That's what happened with Kat and I when we first moved out. We just put it off a day or so at first, then a week, then two weeks, then two months, and suddenly the bank account sat at $9. The only one who can get you a job is you - and I know you can do it, lovey. Send in dozens of applications and make sure you either call or stop back in (the latter is best.) Ask to talk to a manager and politely inform them you submitted an application recently and wanted to know if they had time to look it over.
Tired tired tired. Feet hurt. Gonna be late on lot rent. But feeling damn good about my life. ^__^

On friday I'm going to go door to door on a crazy spree. :3
I regret not applying at the Dosirak korean restaurant.. cuz they were hiring and I said I was interested, but then I went and stayed with my cousin... ahh... I'll make that my first stop. I actually would like to work there. It's a small place, takeout only.
*rubs Naz's tired feets*
I'mma do a casual inquiry into the art department tomorrow in my time between classes. And then forget about the other stuff and just focus all my energy on getting a job. One thing at a time, and that's the most important, yes. :3

Also, guys, I'm commissioning this chick to do signature blinkies of Gaia items for guild advertisement. They're small enough to not draw too much away from an account's signature if you don't want a huge banner in it.
 
Here are two examples. I'll probably use some in profiles, too, tucked at the end of an about section.
So my question to you is: what are some other Gaia items you'd like to see? They don't have to be magic-related -- I have one of a laptop done for Rose Weasley, and a Cig for Reg.

Yeah, so my ******** tax return is a god damn joke.
It cost me $121 ******** dollars to go through H&R block. So I only got $273.05 coming to me. But I owe Kansas $29. <******** THIS.
I busted my ******** a** last year, and this is all I ******** get?
That's not even enough to pay off that ******** ticket, and seeing as how my ******** license is probably suspended because I haven't been paying it. I'm ******** so ******** pissed right now that I wanna start bawling my ******** eyes out.
And I know, that's still like a free $250, but what the ********. I got $480 something dollars last year, I know, I know. We won't get a stimulus every year, whatever. Why is it ******** who are older than me get a ******** tax break? What is so god damned special about being older than 24?
God damn it.

:/ That's not fair at all. What, they think you haven't put in enough? Geeze. This is why I hate the law sometimes, because it doesn't take into account people who aren't part of some sort of 'majority.'
It just sucks that you guys've got to work your asses off for less than someone who's got a comfy job gets. People need to take in account the fact that there are people like you out there who have been working very hard since you were young out of necessity- it's like they don't even give a ******** about people sometimes.
Working at Wal-mart or some place and not even making a living wage is like.. they're trying to work people to death.
A lot of systems in our country are ******** up and wrong. :/

On a less ranty note- I biked like a crazy person today. I got lost because the bike trail/road ran out, and I wanted to get over to the wal-mart area so I could take that path into town (I did a big loop) ended up having to walk my bike over a bridge with NO pedestrian area. :/ There was simply no way to get to the Crossroads (Wal-mart) without crossing it.
I met this guy though.
XD Don't get excited, he was 88...
.... oh shut up.
But he was biking and I asked him if there was another way in and he didn't know. But he said he went to college in 1941 and so that makes him at least 85 and as much as 88. :/
He wasn't like one of those crazy fit older guys, just a normal dude who gave up smoking and soda long ago, and tries to bike like 100 miles a month or something.
:3 It was kinda cool.
Also I got ... coconut chocolate almond delight or something at this ice cream place. It's got really good gourmet type ice cream. Coconut ice cream with chocolate that'd been drizzled in and frozen, almonds, and real shaved coconut.
Mmmm, my new fave ice cream.
People are all out and bout today, couples/friends/whatever. They're having parties outside at their houses- I'm really glad I don't live in one, the noise/people would all piss me off if I wasn't a part of it. xD Music's booming outside...
'm tired and letting the cats on the balcony for a bit...yay..
Kinda lonely though. sad

Also I applied to the art department today. So that's done with. Now I just have to put classes together.....
Really I need to declare a business minor too.....
... oh man I really hope the $100 registration deposit doesn't kill me... I am not buying anything from today onward. I have enough food/whatever stuff.
have enough for next month at least. :3
But it was really exciting and the art building always smells nicely of paint and the studio rooms make me excited. I think Imma declare a BFA with Graphic design intentions, cuz apparently the Interior Architecture is another area/building, and I want to draw. Plus I can always change later when I decide... and right now I only have to work in basic art classes into my schedule and probably an art history thing. :3
......... sigh, so much stuff today. I'm so mentally exhausted from it, and still don't feel too happy because I'm not done yet.
Really looking forward to counseling tomorrow. xD Too bad I have only 2 meetings left after this.... for this semester anyways.
The cats're all cute on the balcony..... I remember when I moved in eli used to jump at every noise, inside and out, run from the bus...
They're sitting just fine with people walking buy, and the bust just roared past the street and they didn't even twitch. Lulz.
Yeah. Imma hit some places I actually want to work at first, the Co-op, the Dosirak place, this bakery/deli/cafe in town (to be a prep chef! I think that'd be fun)
And then pretty much just go everywhere, write every name/number down. Like a crazy person. :3

Lol so apparently I don't have to take math at ALL....
Except for the business minor. xD Darn... :3 Well it's only one class.
Doing this is actually fun, and I'd been dreading it before. Wonder where the watercolour classes went though? Ah, oh well.

Ah, so I still need to go to the Spanish department and look at the posted thing that says what classes they recommend per year...
but I've got at least six classes. I'm only worried about GDR requirements that won't overlap- So I have to take an Anthropolgy Class (My choosing) and an Astronomy Class. :3 And everything else should overlap, except Writing Emphasis or whatever.
Probably be like Art 101, Art 103, Art 282, Span 313, Astronomy 100, and another Spanish Class.
Six.. eighteen credits. I really need to meet with my advisers. xDI have to hunt my spanish one down, geeze...
I'd actually rather take 15 credits and then be able to maintain a part time job.
I think I might take a loan again next year just so I know I'm secure. But not the whole one, only the bigger one. About $14,000 I'll owe when I finish school. xD But oh well.
Imma get work study too, yepyep. Save up as much money as possible so I don't have to be afraid anymore.
I am so tired from biking and doing stuff today, man. And the sun was beautiful. I had to put on sunscreen because I was getting red sitting outside during english today. XD
SO. THATS WHAT HAPPENED TODAY. xD All.. three pages of it.
