"Oo... food," Nina sniffed the door for a moment looking up at it.
Lin nodded, that was quick, quicker than it was going back the other way.

Earendil laughed at Nina, then led them inside.
The kitchen was empty. Even the fireplace was empty, the ovens dead. Everything was spotless and in its place.
Earendil blinked. "Um," he murmured, "I think ... it might be past bedtime."
He looked around, then shrugged. "We can eat before we go to bed."

"Is it that late already?" Lin couldn't believe it, she didn't feel at all tired.
While she was hungry, it didn't feel that later to her.

"Well apparently your time is different from our time," Earendil shrugged, taking some food from a cupboard and setting it on three plates. He put one on the floor for Nina, that contained several naekeurtsl leaves, and handed one with buns and cookies to Lin, taking the third, with the same, to himself.
"So it's no surprise, really."

"Oh..." Lin mused on this as she nibbled on a cookie, wondering if she really had to go to bed.
But it was only polite while she was here that she must go to bed though, but she didn't really want to.
Nina though, had no such thoughts (though most were right now centred on the food put in front of her). Instead she dug right on in.

"Besides," Earendil added, recognizing the look on the little girl's face, "the sooner you sleep, the sooner tomorrow comes, and the sooner we can have another adventure, and the sooner your Daddy will be back for you!"
He grinned at her encouragingly, starting in on one of his buns.

"Okay," Lin replied taking one of the buns and biting into it.
She was probably only going ot have one, unlike her brother Yuki, she did not have an endless stomach.

Earendil finished off his first bun and glanced down at Nina. "Well?" he asked, picking up his second bun. "How do you like it?"
He started eating once more.

"Yummy yummy..." Nina mumbled as she made good work of her food.
Lin watched curiously as she opt to finish off the cookies rather than have more buns, beside one bun could make a little Second pretty full.
"Nina likes food."

Earendil chuckled softly. "I can see that," he laughed. He put the rest of his food away, since he didn't feel like finishing it, then waited for the other two to finish.
"Come on," he said quietly. "We should be getting to bed. At least, I should. I have training early tomorrow, it starts at sunrise and I can't be late."

"Training?" Lin's ears would have perked up if her ears did those kind of things, she set the buns she wasn't going to eat aside, "What kind of training she asked."
Once she was done, she got on Nina, since Nina was well... she had finished quite a long while ago.

"Fighting training," Earendil replied, picking up Lin's discarded buns and putting them into a cloth bag. He tied the top of the bag and attached it to his belt, then beckoned for them to follow him once more. "At the top of the mountain. And it's a long climb, so I have to make sure I'm up early for it."
He led them out of the kitchen and towards the north wing.

Lin asked, she was too little to go to school like her brothers, or sister, and really she wanted to go to the clan grounds with her daddy, but she was far far too little for that.
Nevermind the fact Donovan wouldn't want to quite yet.

Earendil looked down at Lin doubtfully.
"I don't know," he murmured as he led her and Nina towards the tower. "It's pretty dangerous, especially for someone so small ..."
He knew he shouldn't ...

"Please..........." Lin murmured looking up at him with... well she couldn't help the wide eyes part, she had huge eyes for a kid.
She really wanted to know what it was like up there.
