How do people earn points? By doing things exceptionally... um... nifty? Eye-catching? Smart? Brave?

It's not really a secret. You get points for putting up fanart and fanfiction (as long as they're not bad), you get points for moving up a year and you get points when you point out different things. You can also loose house points, but I think there is a sticky for that.
