"I see."
Inanise became silent, not knowing what to say. Her reserved nature came forward once more, and she averted her grey eyes from him. She did not know what else to say, the only person she ever really talked to was Old Inshi...and Aoi.
I wonder how Aoi is... She thought, a bit sad. She had left without notice, and now she was here back in the forest.
Her grey eyes looked back at Vincent, not really knowing what else to do. A gentle breeze blew past them, causing the leaves to ruffle and lifting Inanise's cloak a bit. For those few seconds Inanise's face softened to a small smile.
The silence ensued, but Inanise was at ease.

Vincent tilted his head as he wondered what her strange motions meant. He sighed as he came to the final conclusion that he could never understand the girl, but eventually chuckled over it. He then came to ask, "Are you alright? You facial expressions always seem to change so much that it makes me wonder what you're thinkin'."

"Oh..." Inanise replied, looking at him. "I'm fine. Sorry." she apologized. She didn't even knew that she did that.
Inanise jumped down deftly, landing beside Vincent. "I'm guessing you're hungry?" she asked, but before waiting for a reply, Inanise started to move towards Old Inshi's hideaway, she herself hungry as well. "Follow."
The pale girl walked forward, not checking to see if Vincent followed or not. She went through byways and pathways, over small springs and moss-covered floor.
Finally, she arrived in front of a great waterfall, smiling.
She was home again.
Inanise started to walk cautiously towards the waterfall, taking a small path that was to the side of it, hardly noticeable. Each step was taken with caution, for the floor was wet and slippery. Whoever slipped fell into the pool of water below, most likely staing underwater for a bit due to the force of the waterfall.
The path, however slippery, was straight forward, and it led to a cozy cave that was well into the mountain enough so that the roaring sound of the waterfall was somewhat muted. The girl sat on a makeshift chair located near the entrance, sighing.
It was good to be home again.

"Well..." Vincent meditated for a moment. He rarely bothered to think if he was hungry or not, being all hungry most of the time anyway, but even before he could answer, the girl already started walking, telling him to follow. He shrugged, but trailed by her anyway, watching out for any dangerous animals - some kind of fear that developed over him in his last experience with the wild. Of course, he'd not rather show it, or he'll recieve some bickering over it later on. They finally arrived by the falls, and Vincent watched in awe as she walked over it without even slipping, and came to suspect if there were any tricks applied, speculating real long at how she did it. He finally shook all the deep thought and lwalked to the start of the slippery pathway, saying to himself, "If she can do it, so canI. I mean, she's a girl, and-" But only after a few shaky steps, he finally slipped by and was heading for a fall. then a flash. 'It was the same as before...'

((O.o))
"Focus, Sidney! Focus! It's all in the balance of mind and heart! Do not stress too much nor shouldn't you overdo your racing thoughts! Calm down, Sidney Kraine! Calm down!" Vincent saw an bearded man in his 50s, rather chubby, wearing black sunglasses despite being surrounded by many shades of trees, and the name 'Grandpa Rick' came into his head.
Then rage filled up his heart, wondering why for a moment before the words were spoken, "I told you, pops! Call me Sid! Sid, not Sidney! Oh why did my parents expect a female child?!" By then, Vincent felt panic rush upon him, as he remembered his, or rather, as he speculated, his brother's, foot slip by, inevitable for him to regain his balance on the very tip of the water fall. "Whoah-whoah!"
"Concentrate, Sidney! Concentrate! Use the water to support your feet! Overcome the strong force of its natural ways and mold its motion for your own! Listen to me Sidney!" The man exclaimed, clapping his hands, bending down and nodding to show his support.
All focus was lost at that moment, and Vincent remembered screaming, "I told you pops! Call me Sid! WaAAAaaah!!!" The vision showed him falling from the top of the falls, screaming.
The flash disappeared, and he saw something of comparison as he fell over from the falls, "Whaaaa!" he screamed as he stretched out his hand, and scurrying it about as he tried to grab hold of something, anything.

Inanise jumped and rand out when she heard a scream.
Unfortunately, her hurry caused her to not take caution upon stepping on the slippery path, and she hadn't even taken her second step when she slid forward.
Desperately Inanise tried to regain her balance, but it was to no avail as she reached the edge, spotting Vincent as he struggled to keep his grip on the wet rocks. The look on her face was calm when she fell over, her grey eyes looking on Vincent.
Almost magically Inanise twisted in mid-air, her right hand sweeping into a wide arc around her. Old Inshi would have been proud, for the many days of rigorous training had not gone to waste. The girl was foating in air, using her power over the manipulation of unseen forces to keep her aloft. To those who was not trained with the element void, it felt like there was something was holding you up (like a gentle but strong giant's hand around the waist, maybe), unlike the breezy feel of those trained under air.
It was one of the more advanced techniques, since Void wasn't meant for flying, a sign that Inanise was well beyond being a Prestidigitator.
She went closer to Vincent and held him afloat as well, saving him a trip down the falls and under it. She led him and herself inside her most humble abode, and placed him back down once they were on good ground.
"Be careful." she told him, her voice quiet. They were both standing on solid, non-slippery ground again and she looked away as the girl surveyed the living quarters.
The cave was small, but clean. Makeshift chairs made of rocks and padded with leaves were placed near the entrance. There was a well-used fire pit to the top left side of the room, and around it were comfy-looking old pillows. One corner of the room looked like a kitchen, with a place where the running water flowed naturally. A small used bed was to one far corner and that was that for furnishings.
"Make yourself welcome." she told him.

Vincent was falling, falling to his death, he'd pressume, but after that flash of memory, his eyes turned hollow blue, and, on its own, his body turned sideways towards the cave and was about to stretch out his hand towards down beow, feeling the tug of the water moving upwards to catch him, when... His eyes opened wide when he saw Inanise floating in the air and headed his way. A small grin came across the stranger's face, as Vincent's eyes reverted back to the deep ocean blue it ussually was, caught safely by Inanise.
Upon landing inside the cave, Vincent felt very comfortably upon finally setting a footing on the firm and bumpy, yet smooth rock cave floor, something that he was strangely familiarized with, and his toes move about up and down in his expression of glee. He looked around the simple home, and smiled at its heartfelt simplistic conditions. He feltdefinitely at home, and quite interested. Where else had he seen chairs made of rock with padding as leaves, or running water that was rnning by the literal sense (non-stop)? There was something of an exciting feelingfilling up in his heart and he noded, "I don't ussually assume being welcome until I ask the home and the host, and the way I see it, both say 'yes.'"
He walked and bent over around the small fire pit and watched with curiosity before heading for the chairs, taking a seat, and asked, "So, uh... why'd you go here? Home sick?"

(( wow. Sorry for the late reply ))
Inanise looked at him, puzzled. "This is my house..." then shyly, she added, "...that's the first time I've ever been out of here."
Slowly, Inanise turned around and went towards the kitchen , getting from their stores a large strip of jerky after washing her hands. She placed this upon a flat-surfaced stone, then lit the firepit that was in the 'livingroom'. The placed the jerky above the fire, and seasoned it with some dried herbs.
Once the jerkey was heated enough, she placed the jerkey on top of a large green leaf that she had gotten from one of the storages inside the cave (she had gathered these before hand). And then placed the leaf between two leaf-cushioned stones.
"Eat." she invited him, the smell of the jerkey and herbs filling the room.
