Hi. Back from the Nurse's office. SHe just needed a bandage. She'll be back in a few minutes unless she has somewhere to be. I was just there to put pressure and make sure the bleeding stopped. That's the only thing that stops the bleeding...putting pressure to it. It's that simple. Anyway...Question: Are 2nd years able to do non-verbal spells?

"Well, nonverbal spells are NEWT level, aren't they? That's why they aren't really mentioned until sixth year." Kitty shrugged, "I won't say its impossible, after all the Patronus is NEWT level and certain people rolleyes (OoC- Three guesses who!) have done it in their 3rd years. But I'm betting its not particularly easy to do either. Oh, and good thing Fearless is ok. biggrin "

ATTN Gryffindors!
The new term is starting soon and I will be promoting and/or demoting students up or down a year! Yup, its that time again! ((Old Gryffindor Students cheer in delight)) If there have been inactive people for the past 3 months and those few who have still yet to post here to let me know of their existence, they will not be moving up...unless they give me a special reason...then I may consider it. I will be posting updated student lists tonight...or tomorrow and every student must confirm (in this thread) that they are added and that the information is correct.
...further announcements will be made soon...

Okay, the list has been updated! This is the most first years I've ever seen since...I've been a member here at HPGoG eek If you are a student who hasn't been added to the list or hasn't been promoted and want a reason, PM me.

Kitty burst through the portrait hole as quickly as she could without jostling the caged owl she was carrying too much. "Look at what my parents gave me for my good grades in all my OWLs! His name is Rasey!" she announced, eyes bright with excitement. For his part, Rasey's head swivled around as the barn owl took in the Gryffindor Common Room.
(The list looks fine to me, Ann, and I wouldn't be surprised if that is the most firsties we've ever had.)

Kaylee came bursting into the commen room " I made the quiditch team" she said happily and began writing a letter

"Thanks! I heard you made it to the Quidditch team? What position?" asked Kitty. Meanwhile, Rasey had apperently decided that the Common Room was, in fact, utterly boring. He had put his head under his wing and was taking a nap. Kitty set his cage down gently on a nearby table. "I wonder if the cats and owls ever fight?" she asked no one in particular.

((OOC: Yeah, so I'm on page 40(!!!) and taking a break. I figured I should post at least once in April, and right after a ridiculous amount of writing seemed the best time to do it. So... Hello! I'm still here, still alive, still writing like a madwoman. See you in May!
