Shino's head appeared and upon hearing Shikamaru's question, he replied. "I don't know... Maybe because I don't have to worry about being a ninja all the time here." He floated on his back as he answered.

"I didn't realize that you dislike being a ninja." Shikamaru frowned a bit. He too wasn't 100% thrilled with it but it was his life. "Still, it's unusual of you to be so relaxed. I figured you'd be trying to make alliances already or something like that."

"It's not that I dislike being a ninja," Shino said. "it's just that it's nice to get away from that now and then. I'm uptight because I keep my guard up all the time." He floated closer to the lazy genius.

Shikamaru chuckled again. "Yeah, I hear that a lot from Kiba. Though that's not saying much as he probably thinks I'm boring too." He found himself looking over Shino again now that he was closer. I wonder why he wears all those jackets of his? He's obviously not hiding a bad body. Whatever, none of my business. He reached up and pulled his hair tie out, using the chance for a break. If he wore it up all day, his head usually hurt come night time. He slipped the band around his wrist so he wouldn't lose it.

Shino turned and saw that Shikamaru had let his hair down. The sight was drool worthy. And nosebleed worthy. There I go again. His body isn't that bad either. Getting an idea, he grinned and splashed Shikamru, getting him all wet. He laughed at the sight of a soaked Shika.

Shikamaru scowled and brushed his hair out of his face. He actually didn't mind too much seems the whole reason of coming here was to go swimming. His scowl turning to a smirk, Shikamaru splashed Shino back with his feet. It didn't really do anything seems he had already gone under water, but that wasn't the point. An eye for an eye, right?

Shino popped up from under the water and teased Shikamaru. "What? not going to extract revenge?" He loved the way his hair was plastered to his neck and he smiled a bit. "Come on."

Shikamaru gave a sigh and got up, then began walking away. When he was near the door, he stopped and ran and jumped into the pool, a grin on his face. Water went flying everywhere as he'd done a cannon ball, but that was the point. When he surfaced he was still grinning, surprising even himself that he was actually doing something fun.

Shino stared at the wave that was approaching. He was so stunned that it hit him and he went under. He came up sputtering and grinned evily. his hair hanging around his face, it was quite long when he didn't have it up with hair gel, he dunked Shikamaru.

Itachi sighed and watched as the blond coughed out the jerky, throwing it into the trash. He nodded at his reply and winced when his finger started to hurt a little more. He tried not to show it as he kept a straight face, placing his injured hand onto his lap.

Deidara's attention returned to Itachi's finger. Gently, his hand moved to grab the Uchiha's, and he carefully examined the now funny-color looking, slightly swollen, finger. "We should get it splinted, un..." the blond finally murmured, his voice still a bit hoarse, looking to the raven-haired male from over the injured hand. "Maybe get some ice... does it hurt, un?" he then asked, no sign of laughter in his expression.

He fought against the Aburame as he was dunked under the water, but found it rather difficult. The water made them both slippery and it was hard to get a good grip. He broke away from Shino and swam to the surface and out of arms reach. "You're just full of surprises today, Shino. First you take off your jackets, which I never thought would happen, and now you're here playing in a pool. Have Kiba and Hinata even seen you like this?"

Itachi watched as Deidara checked out his finger. His voice still sounded quite hoarse. That jerky really did affect the blond when he had chocked on it. Sighing, the brunette nodded and stared at his finger. It looked weird. Really weird. 'I need to be more careful from now on..' He thought to himself silently, sighing again.

Deidara gently let go of Itachi's hand, and then shifted off of the other male and stood. "I think I saw a medical office over near the onsen, un..." he murmured softly, offering to help the Uchiha up. The hand offered was changed so the other male could use his uninjured hand to pull himself up.

Itachi took the blond's extended hand with his uninjured hand as he stood up. He made his way over towards the door, opening once reaching it with his other hand that wasn't injured. He just wanted to get this over with. Once he was outside, he awaited for Deidara to come out and show him to wherever that medical office was.
