Fury is overcome by the warrior woman's gesture. And he vows her plea for assistance will not go unanswered. "If it is within my power, I will do all that I can to help you find your sister, and end your curse. I am sworn to a path of justice already, but when I return, if you still need me, I will be there."

*Djanni smiles, genuine this time. For the first time since her brother's death, the fires are utterly quiet. But the wine too has taken its toll, and unconciousness calls. She leans forward against the table, and as she falls asleep she says * "My thanks, warrior. In whatever way I may repay you, you have but to ask."

Puc walks toward the table, taking the mug of redberry from the tavernkeep as he passes him. He pulls out a chair and climbs up onto it. Taking a sip of redberry, he frowns at the unconscious lady. "I suppose checking her pockets wouldn't really be fair game, now..." He grins at Fury. "Huh?"

Fury smiles wryly at the small one. "Yes, I would have to say she is no longer of much challenge to one of your talents. Speaking of which, who might you be? I am Fury, a humble adventurer, friend to those with friendly intentions, and enemy to those who take pleasure in the destruction of innocence. What brings you to our fair city, friend?"

Puc smiles into her mug. Then, looks up at Fury with a grin. "I'm Puc!" He announces cheerfully in a high voice. "I'm a...um... treasure hunter. I'm friends with everyone--oh! except the undead... I hate the undead. Horrible at parties." He takes another sip of her redberry. "I'm here cause I got bored." He grins and wiggles around in the chair.

Fury looks at Puc, amused by his actions. "Something tells me, letting you get bored is probably a bad idea. So tell me, that redberry juice, it's not intoxicating to you by any chance?"

Puc looks from fury to the juice. He dips in a finger and smells the juice delicately. Then, he licks it off. "No, non-alcoholic. And anyway, I'm quite against drinking. Fuddles your head and isn't good for business..." Puc grins. "No matter what you business happens to be."

Fury nods his head in agreement. "It's good to hear you like to keep your head straight. Some of the patrons take a different approach. Personally, I prefer a nice cup of tea. Much as I would like to continue this conversation, it's getting late. Perhaps we will speak again in the future." At this Fury stands to take his leave. "Master barkeep, if you would be so kind as to give our friend here a room for the night, we would be eternally grateful." Fury assist the barkeep in escorting Djanni to a room, insuring no harm comes to her as she sleeps. "Good night to you as well Master Puc; may your dreams bring you peace." Fury departs to rest within his private Training Grounds.

Puc nods to Fury. "Goodnight to you too." He looks up the stairs toward the rooms for moment. Then, scowls and shakes his head. Stealing from berserkers is not conducive to ones health. He stand with a sigh and counts out some coins. He puts them on the table with a small smile. Pocketing the mug while the tavernkeep's back is turned, he stalks out the door. It never hurt to have another mug and besides... everything has its price, so long as you have the right buyer. He grins to himself.

Lazarus sat queitly, watching everything that was going on, and makeing mental notes of it all. The, with a quicke scribing, he left a note for Fury. Fury sir, I have taken a very short leave, to discover a store where I may make a small purchase. Hopefully the transaction will be complete by the time I return.

Alecks witnessed everything as he was quietly sipping his herbal mixture, and even witnessed the pickpocketing of the mug. Takes one to know one... He finished off his bowl and left his tip on the counter, then went outside and lay on the roof, looking up at the stars. Fury really seems to care about what we have to do...maybe it's something personal. I should leave him to his thoughts. But that berserker girl...she reminds me so much of a dear friend, it's scary. After that thought to himself, he hopped off the roof and went into his room, sleeping with not a care in the world.

Finishing his scrawling message on the tabletop of one of the tables furthest from the barkeep he stood back and admired the inscription. "Ig trendo nergoyt meras clart" He spoke calmly as he ran his hand over the message. "Time and truth are lines in the sand." He said looking at his now empty mug, still pondering what he should drink next.

Perrian walked into the tavern and went to the bartender. "I'll have a cup of diet soda, please." Perrian took the cup of soda and sat down at an empty table, just sipping the soda slowly while he thought about his upcoming adventure.

Grabbing a reddish drink he took a long swig before spitting it out on the floor. "Since when did the tavern serve blood?" Scraping his tongue beneath his mask he finally grabs what he thought had enough alcohol to sterilize his mouth. "Jeeze these glasses need labels or that barkeep needs to talk more..."

"It's weird that they have blood, but I guess this tavern is just going full out with Halloween and serving blood. Who knows, maybe they'll serve body parts stuffed with bugs next." Perrian shrugged and sipped his diet soda.
