::he blinks, a bit startled then leans in and kisses her on the forehead then the lips gently, pulling back to whisper a bit shakily:: i think... i'm glad you chose your heart... ::then a bit worridly:: you DID choose heart, right?

Divena ::she looks over at him when he stops in midword and then sees Glory's hand on his and shoves her fist into her mouth to keep from laughing yet again. she quickly gets herself under control this time, though and goes over to the futon. sitting down next to Ran, she puts a finger to her lips to indicate he should be quite then starts to hum a lullaby that always managed to keep her cousins asleep. after a few notes, she carefully lifts Glory's hand and places it on the pillow next to her head, freeing Ran's hand. without stopping the lullaby, she waves Ran toward the door:: *Ran watched and listened as Franki's melodic tune eased the tension in the room. As Franki set Glory's hand on the pillow, Ran wondered how such a tomboyish girl could possess such a calming voice. He slowly got to his feet and followed her towards the door and finally closing it behind them* That...that was amazing...

::she shrugs dismissively, rubbing the back of her neck lightly, a nervous habit of hers:: my cousins, they're both five and can be really fussy sometimes... at least when it's time for them to go to bed... usually a story or song will get 'em to sleep, but sometimes one of them wakes up from a nightmare and crawls in with me, we share the room. anyway, that lullaby always kept 'em asleep when i had to move them... figured it might work for her. no big

I could imagine. *Ran smiled and leaned against the door* That song was so soothing. *His smile faded from cheerful to rather sad as he looked towards the ground* It kinda of brought back some good memories too. *He looked back up to her with a bright expression once again* Please, if you would, I'd like to here you sing like that again one day. smile

::she stretches one arm across her body, turning her upper half with it in a stretch to hide her slight blush then does the same with the other arm and other direction:: i don't sing a lot ::half mumbled:: just for the twins mostly...

Remmy, ever the joker, simply smiled. "If I didn't tell you then you would worry too much." she said, laying her forehead against his. "Of course I chose my heart, you know me well enough to know that I always do." she said, kissing his nose.

Oh? Well okay then... *Ran watched as she stretched. Franki sure did become real uneasy when Ran commented her singing. He guessed that maybe she had a soft spot for it or something* Sooo, you wanna get a drink or something while Glory rests up? *Ran motioned down the hallway in an inviting manner*

*Ran led her down to the nearby lounge and purchased an iced coffee from a vending machine. He would have taken her somewhere more...nice, but he was poor and this was nearby* What can I get ya? *Ran slipped the change into the machine and awaited her request*

*Ran nodded back and another can of iced coffee clunked down to the machine opening. He didn't know if she drank coffee but out of everything in the machine, this was easily the best* Heads up. *Ran looked over and lightly tossed a can her way before standing and cracking open his own* I always get these drinks. They're pretty good for cheap vending machine stuff. sweatdrop

Remmy chuckled. "I am wonderfully full of surprises but if that was my brain then my heart would have been really screwed up." she said, making an odd face. She then tucked her head under his chin, her arms still wrapped around him. "You make me feel safe."
