Kalco walked towards where the meal was served and realized he hadn't eaten since he got into that barfight. He sat down and started munching on the food. "Hey, Sora, these are pretty good! What are they?"

((don't mind my little twist, it's just to jeep May and Minae in the RP while Minasia is not allowed on and justifies a reason.))
Alianae stood and walked back over to the fire. Selecting a small piece of vegetable, she sat on the ground again and ate.
"It seems as if those two did more than overexert themselves." she said, nodding towards May and Minaisa. "May should have recovered before now. Long before now. But we can't wait for them, it is vital that we keep going. There is no time to lose."
She walked over to the two and knelt between them. She closed her eyes and recoiled instantly, actually flying backwards through the air in her haste.
"I don't know what it is but..it's very strong. I-I think they're drugged with something. They won't be of much use and there is not much we can do to help."

"Thanks!" Sora said. "They're just vegetables dipped into carrot juice, and roasted with spices," he said, and then saw Alianae fly back from May and Minasia, and ran over, "If they're drugged, then...how can we take them with us to any village and not cause worry?"

Alianae blinked and rubbed her eyes.
"I-I don't know." she said, "I can't go near them, if I could there are a few things I could do.." She let her voice trail off as she thought.
"There is one thing. We keep them in the air above us on a dragon. No, not Terra." she shook her head, "They'll notice that you're a Shur'tugal and then worry of ambush because your dragon isn't present. Whereas, me, they won't even notice."
She paused slightly to let this last comment sink in as she tugged her ring off gently. Bringing the ring to her lips, she whispered, "Until we meet again, I said. Now we shall once more meet." and kissed the dragon ring softly before touching it lightly to her bangle. There was a flash of golden light which lit up the whole clearing, blinding Alianae for a second. In that golden light, a streak of red ran. It twisted and undulated until it formed the rough shape of a dragon. As the last line came into place, the gold light was no more. In front of Alianae now stood a dragon. Fira.

They both groaned painfully and shook their heads, at the same time, and stared at fira.
"Nice to see you again..."
"Aye, a dragon is always welcomed in my sight!"

"Well, that solves alot of problems," Sora said, and stood up, facing Fira. "It is nice to see you again, though," he told the golden dragon, and faced Kalios. Your dreams kept me from concentrating on cooking. You've got the burnt brocolli, he said. However, Terra and I think your dream is related to the Will of Alalea, he continued, and walked over to Terra. What do you make of all this?
You have no need to ask me. You saw Kalios's dreams, and somehow, we're being tied up into something bigger than ourselves. We could probably find some prophecy dealing with this in Alalea, she told him. Until then, we just follow our wyrda.
Kalios stared at Sora, then at his food. I can't believe this, he thought, and pulled some of the carrots behind Sora's back, wolfing them down as quick as possible.

Kalco stared awestruck at Fira. Id..did that dragon just come out of a ring? he walked over to May and sat down next to her.

Alianae blinked and smiled. "Well, that had a few unexpected side effects. It seems the magic alone woke you two up." Fira snaked her head around and gave Alianae an affectionate rub, almost like a cat.
Do you want me to stay then? You'll attract more attention you know.
I know, but stay anyway. We can't go wasting time and magic. Alianae replied, with the ghost of a smile on her lips.
She turned and laughed at Kalco's expression, so different to that of the others. "I don't believe you've been properly introduced. Kalco, Fira. Fira, Kalco."
Fira dipped her head in acknoledgement, her blue eyes twinkling.
I wonder what happened to May and Minasia...and why our magic reversed it. Fira said quietly, for she had been watching all along.
I don't know, but it can't be good. It was something brought on by the Old Magick back in Alia. Our spell...is older perhaps it fought off whatever ailment they had.
We should be careful though. You know the consequences for using Old Magick in a place that can't take it. Old as Alalea may be, it has not been around long enough to have known it.
I know. You know I know. Alianae replied.
Aloud she said, "Well, now that we're all..awake, let's get going shall we?"
((note: Alia is the Teirm-like city. Not that your characters should know..))

Kalco bowed his head towards Fira and stood up, turning towards Alianae. "Yes, we shall go, but first let me wake my dragon." He walked over to where Halbark was sleeping.
Ooooh, Halbark!
Just five more minutes...
No, siree. We're about to leave. So get up.
Aww...okay.
Halbark slowly got up and stifled a small yawn.

Kalco hopped onto Halbark's sadle, placing his feet in each of the footholds.
Ready?
I was born ready.
Halbrak lifted into the air, hover about 40 feet above the campsite.

Alianae settled herself on Fira before helping May and Minasia up behind her.
"Yes, I know we could use Blue Magick, Green Magick, whatever. But we're not going to okay?" she said, sounding more like the younger Alianae they had known before Ruialusa had come.
Raising her voice, she made herself heard by the others.
"Okay, fly due north out of the forest. North is that way." she pointed withour hesitation, "Once you are over the last trees, turn and fly out of the sun, whichever way it may be. Keeping the sun at your back, fly until you see the first...village, if you want to call it that. If you are delayed there, stop. I will lead most of the time but if in any case we are separated, we meet up at the village. Any questions?"

"Let's let it happen, cap'n!" Kalco yelled as he instructed Halbark to fly north, allowing Alianae to go ahead of him.

"Finally," Sora said in a whisper barely audible for his own thoughts, and Terra jumped from the ground, her wings snapping straight, as Sora and Kalios clung to her many back spikes. After a minute of flight, they relaxed, and kept alongside Kalco and Halbark.

Alianae gave Fira a slight hug and led the party north. For what seemed like hours they flew over the treetops. At last, when the end of the forest was visible, a funny buzzing feeling was in the air.
"It's the warding." Alianae called, " Don't be alarmed and don't call on any magic."
Fira flew father away from the others and Alianae whispered to the wards which opened enough to let them all through. Making a sharp turn to the right, fira flew west, away from the morninng sun. Another few hours seemed to lapse by and the sun was soon over their heads. Alianae had taken note of this and with every passing hour, she and fira adjusted their position so they were always directly out of the sun.
At midday, they landed in the village Alianae had spoken of.
"We'd better have something to eat." she explained.
