"Ratata, give it another Tackle, full force!" Train commanded. Ratata slammed into the wild mouse pokemon, knocking it out. Then Ratata strutted back proudly to Train.
"Wow!" Train said aloud in wonder. She never thought a level 2 Ratata would take out another Ratata so quickly." She picked up her Ratata and held him up. "Ratata, that was amazing! I'm so proud of you!" She praised Ratata. Then she recalled Ratata to his pokeball.

Upon hearing that about his Mom Dante couldn't say that he wasn't to suprised. She did know a lot of people after all and this was nothing new. Shrugging it off he watched the exchange between the two men with mild interest. However when Surge started talking more about the legendary pokemon he started paying more attention. "Thank you very much for your help and the gym battle." He said with a smile as he took to diary from him. "I am sure that it will be of a lot more help then the other books I am lugging around." He said nudging his heavy looking messenger bag.
Apollo who had been looking at the Raichu stopped and looked at the Pikachu who had come back with the older gentlemen. Snorting slightly, some embers appearing with the gust of air Apollo stamped his hooves on the ground wishing that he was doing some more movement.
Upon hearing Apollo's hooves hit the metal floor Dante cast a glance at his Ponyta. "Heh, it looks like Apollo needs to do some more running. Turning diary still in his hands, Dante went over to where Apollo was standing and ran a hand over his silvery fur. "I wish there was something I could do to repay your help. If there is anything you could posibly need I can do my best to do whatever it is." He said looking back at the gym leader.

Themis continued to stare stupidly at his new love even as she reared back and slapped him across the face repeatedly. Keegan hung his head and sighed - did all guys look that ridiculous when they were in love, or was Attract just that powerful?
"Snap out of it buddy," the redhead called encouragingly. "Your girlfriend is rather abusive, don't you think? You might want to hit her back!"
This made the girl giggle as Themis let out a longing sigh, and Delcatty struck again, this time landing five consecutive Doubleslaps on Themis's face. The lovesick Electrike fell to his belly, looking up at his love with confusion. Why was she hitting him? Had he done something wrong? He let out a pitiful whimper, sliding back a bit to get a better look at her.
"Themis! Tackle! Quick Attack! Thunderbolt! Please do something!" Keegan begged. It certainly looked like Themis wouldn't be evolving today.

Train walked into Viridian City. She had decided to give her pokemon a break, but now she had no idea what to do! She hadn't made any friends yet, so she couldn't think of anything to do except hang out at the pokemon center.

Surge nodded, folding his arms across his chest. "I'll keep that in mind," he said. "Now take your horse outta here before he scuffs up m' floor." The gym leader laughed, dismissing the young trainer. Most people would feel a little sad after losing a match like that, but Surge found his spirits high, it meant that the world would be full of tough trainers, and perhaps someday, some of them might have the brass needed to stop Team Rocket once and for all.

"Well, I suppose it can't be helped," Nina said. "Giovanni seems to be a natural born stalker anyway-- he's got eyes everywhere." The girl sighed. "Oh well, no matter. Did you find anything, Raimundo?"
The boy shook his head. "No, not yet. All of the files with actual, readable names don't have anything to do with Giovanni." He sighed. "We just might need to go through all of these files individually... But that'll take so long--"
"Wait," Nina said. "Scroll up a little bit... What's this? Click the file named 'Gio' for me." Raimundo complied. However, a moment later a look of frustration and shock came onto his face. "Agh, no!" he said. "This is just great... All of the information in this file is totally encrypted! I can't read any of it!"
The girl blinked. "Encrypted?" she repeated, leaning over his shoulder, looking at the computer screen. All of the characters displayed on the screen didn't even belong to the alphabet-- they were some type of strange, unreadable symbols. It looked like more like an alien language than anything else. "Great," she said, letting out a little sigh and sitting back down. "I finally get my hands on information about the man, and I can't even read it."
"I'm sorry, Nina," Raimundo said, turning around to face her, wearing a genuinely sorry expression on his face. Nina blushed-- she wished he'd stop being so appealing. It was getting hard to talk to him. "I-it's not [your fault, Rai," she replied, smiling a little bit. "I do appreciate your helping me though. I'll just have to find some other way to get information about this man, that's all." She chuckled. "He's pretty damned secretive, that's for sure." This caused a light laugh to come from Raimundo as well.
"So, if you need to find another way... does that mean you're leaving?" he asked. Nina shook her head. "I was actually hoping we could have that battle you had mentioned before." Raimundo grinned broadly. "Ah, right on!" he excalimed. "How's about right now?"
A nod from the girl, and she returned the grin. The duo headed outside a few moments later. Nina seemed to feel truly happy for the first time all day.

Train had an idea. Instead of sitting around the town, trying to level up her too pokemon, she'd travel around for a bit, catch new pokemon, then come back and challange Brock! She gave her pokeballs to Nurse Joy one more time, and when she had them back, walked out and headed towards Viridian Forest to make her way to the next town. She was sure Brock was in the town, anyway. Her original plan was to power up in Viridian so she could easily get through Viridian Forest, but now she decided she'd catch some pokemon in Viridian Forest instread!
"You ready, Pikachu?" She asked the yellow mouse pokemon on her shoulder."Pika!" was Pikachu's sure reply.

Kilik was weary of the Gastly, not wanting to get licked again. Lifting up his Park Ball and recalling his Scizor, Kilik glanced over at the Gym Leader. "It was an honour to battle you," he told him simply. Steadily, he lifted his hand and took the Fog Badge out from the man's hand. Afterward, he walked carefully over to the Gastly and lifted his hand once more. Without hesitation, Kilik snatched the bag out from his mouth and then walked over to the black mat in the center of the Gym. This time, though, he wasn't looking for the hard floor. Instead, he stepped onto the cushion and was warped to the other side. The boy bid farewell to the Gym Leader before stepping through the door.
Once he was outside, he took a deep breath. "Another badge," he whispered, looking at the ground. Turning on his heel, Kilik headed towards the Pokemon Center. A blank expression rested on his face as he walked. Slowly, he lifted the bag upwards and then opened it for a peak inside. It was all there. His money and the purple disc. He looked up and found himself directly outside the Center's door. With a step and an electronic hiss, he entered.

"Mareep, Thunder shock! Zubat, Supersonic, Houndour, ember attack! Go now!" The man shouted angrily as he threw his arms forward with his commands. The first to move was the snarling pup, barking loudly before jumping forward and unleashing a wave of tiny fireballs at Crenu's three-man team. Right after, the Mareep also ran forward, carrying a charge in its wool and firing the electrical wave at the three as well, this one was widespread to hit all three and so was not as strong as a concentrated thunderbolt. Even so, against Poliwag it would be devastating. And finally, Zubat flew overhead and generated a supersonic pitch that would hit all three. It may have seemed like only a random barrage, but it was quite brilliant. By attacking with the electrical and flaming attacks first, everyone's attention would go to them. While they pay attention to that, the invisible supersonic hits and confuses them, making them unable to evade the fire and electric combination. The man stood grinning, quite proud of himself and his plan.
Crenu was not ready to give in though. This battle was just beginning and Crenu was finally starting to have some fun. “Larvitar, counter Supersonic with Screech! Poliwag, jump behind larvitar! Spinarak, use Poison Sting to take down those embers and race for an attack! Go now!” Poliwag immediately jumped behind larvitar and took cover while Spinarak reared back and launched forth a wave of needles at the embers. Larvitar took in a deep breath as he leaned back, coming forward and opening his mouth to let out an ear piercing shriek at the pokemon. The two sound attacks collided in the air and canceled each other out, making a visible wave as it distorted the air much like heat did. Houndour’s embers met with the needles and burnt through most of them, but by the end of the attack exchange the flames fizzled out and the needles left over fell short of the other team. And last, but not least, the thunder shock fell. The attack hit Spinarak full on, but she managed to shake off the charge and stood strong. Larvitar happily took the shock as it seemed to hit him and simply stop in its tracks, not affecting him in the least. Poliwag, who had taken cover behind Larvitar, was also un-touched as Larvitar took the hit for the both of them. “Heh, now it’s my turn!”

Train walked into the forest, not knowing what would happen. Though, almost immediatly, a Caterpie appeared before her. The Caterpie was the first to attack, and it covered Pikachu in a mess of sticky string. Pikachu fell of Train's shoulder, but jumped up and shook them off.

Once they had decided on a makeshift arena, Raimundo unclipped a Pokeball from his belt, and tossed it and caught it several times. "Let's say three Pokemon each, for a one-on-one battle. You ready?" he asked. "I'm a lot better than I was the last time you met me." Nina grinned. "I'm a Gym Leader, Rai. I've got to learn to be prepared for anything." The boy flashed a grin in response, and flung his Pokeball onto the arena. A Magcargo dripped magma from its body as it was released from the ball.
Nina raised an eyebrow at the Pokemon as it displayed its erratic behavior. That's not weird at all, she thought, snatching an Ultra Ball. "It was unwise to send that Pokemon out, Rai," Nina commented, "especially because I've got... this!" She threw her ball onto the arena...
...And Aphrodite appeared, hovering in place.
Raimundo chuckled a little. "I'll work around that," he replied. "Magcargo, use Rock Throw!" Magcargo grinned --sort of-- and it seemed to manifest several oversized rocks, which it flung towards Aphrodite immediately afterward.
"Uhm, how about no?!" Nina replied, knowing that Rock-type attacks were supereffective against Ice-type Pokemon. "Aphrodite, use Psychic! Throw those rocks away from yourself!
"Great idea, Nina," Aphrodite replied. She stared at the rocks that were shooting towards her, and concentrated heavilly. She was able to freeze them in place for a few moments, before flinging them away from herself. The Pokemon grinned. "Sorry Magcargo, but that just wasn't good enough," she said to her slug-like opponent. A second or so later, Aphrodite summoned up a large wave of water, and blasted it towards her foe...

...And due to the massively high speed rating that Magcargo had, it was not only able to dodge the wave, but it performed fourteen cartwheels to dodge every last drop of water...
Or, at least, that's what the Magcargo had wished it could do. It was entirely overrun by the water, and its dual-weaknesses to water caused it to be instantly knocked out. Raimundo recalled his Pokemon, and looked over to Nina. "This seems awfully familiar," he replied, chuckling a little bit. He unclipped another Pokeball, and released his next contender unto the field.
A Victreebel popped out of its Pokeball, and sat quietly for a moment. He turned his head a little to get a look at his surroundings... And screamed. This caused not only Raimundo, but Nina and Aphrodite to jump due to being, for lack of a better word, startled. He didn't need to be issued a command to know what to attack Aphrodite with. He used his vine extending from his head to launch himself in an upward, forward direction; due to the speed he was travelling and the force of gravity, landed on top of Aphrodite's head. Before he allowed his opponent a chance to attack, Victreebel swallowed Aphrodite's head and neck, and began to perform a Giga Drain attack. He screamed a few times in the process.
Aphrodite flailed her head forward, backward, and side to side at unbelieveable speeds, to try to shake her attacker off. In truth, she was more afraid of having the Victreebel on her like that as opposed to being attacked. After fruitless flailing attempts and realizing that Victreebel wouldn't let go, Aphrodite decided on a different method. She inhaled deeply, and loosed an Ice Beam attack. That forced Victreebel off of her head, and sent it flying backwards, crashing onto the ground.
"That was really weird!" Aphrodite yelled to the strange plant Pokemon. It responded with a scream.

“Alright Larvitar, run in and use Bite on Mareep! Spinarak, use Night Shade on Zubat and take it down! Poliwag, use bubble on Houndour! Go!” Crenu’s commands were sharper than ever, he had a real fire burning this time around. Larvitar opened his jaws and sprinted forward towards Mareep. Its electric attacks wouldn’t do anything and normal attacks would do little damage to a rock type. Poliwag stood up on his tail and spit out what seemed like hundreds of bubbles with such force at Houndour and Spinarak starter glowing as she prepared the Night Shade.
“Damn kid! How dare you stand up to Team Rocket this way! I’ll show you to respect Team Rocket through fear! Mareep, Take Down! Houndour, Rage, go take that tadpole out! Zubat, Wing attack now!” Houndour howled up at the sky as a glowing red flame appeared in his eyes as he spewed little flames in every direction. Charging forward, he ran right through the bubble attack. Taking damage, he winced from the water attack, but kept going as it fueled his rage. Zubat Burst downwards at high speed with wings aglow at Spinarak. However, it was not fast enough to evade the dark curtain that had already started falling over it. Zubat hit the ground hard and started wriggling around as the shade did its damage. As all this happened, Larvitar charged forward at Mareep, who also began charging forward. The two pokemon collided, Mareep’s powerful takedown collided head on with larvitar, knocking him back without getting his bite attack in.

Hastily recalling her Swablu, M.A. chased after Ky; her long, lanky legs soon brought her side-by-side with the boy, as she had always been quite accustomed to and fond of running. The PokeCenter was not a great distance away, and before the two knew it, they stood in the large crowd that had assembled before the building's doors, more from curiousity than need for any Pokemon's medical help. A nameless male police officer was barring the way, keeping the general public out for the time being.
Behind him, Nurse Joy was talking in distressed tones to the other female officer that M.A. and Ky had seen zip off past them several minutes ago. ". . . -ficer Jenny, a man in black broke into the storage room. . . young trainer and his Larvitar gave persuit. . . Pokemon belong to several other trainers!"
"D'you think that might've been Crenu, possibly?" the girl whispered to Ky, standing on her tip-toes to see what was going on. The crowd was so dense that it was impossible to get any closer now, and the rest of the conversation was drowned out by the policeman's walkie talkie. That didn't matter, though, considering they'd seen and heard at least the gist of it all.
Not waiting for an answer (a girl's intuition, maybe?), she grabbed Ky's wrist then hand and struggled to break them both out of the crowd, taking off for the side of the building, the area where the break-in had taken place. No surprise that there were officers there, too. "Hey, what are you --" they began to ask warily, but were cut-off by M.A. galloping past the scene with Ky in tow. Man, could the girl run! She wasn't waiting for the authorities to get to the case, though, if Crenu was out there; perhaps it was dangerous, who knew? In the movies, robbers were always scary. Except Robin Hood, who could be pretty darn dashin'.
But that was going along on a tangent. M.A. focused now on trying to find the direction the robber had taken which would've been near impossible for her if not for Daemyn and his trusty nose. Apparently, he had caught the scent of either the robber or someone familiar (presumably Crenu, since M.A. had decided that it must certainly be him and not another fella with a Larvitar), and seeing that M.A. /wanted/ to go to the scene of trouble (who could understand the silly girl?), he led the way. Would you rather us not interfere, Shiro, and just perhaps find another Rocket? O:

Grinning Dante snapped into one final salute. "Thank you very much Lieutenant Sir!" That being said he lead Apollo out of the gym. Levi sensing the gym battle was over jumped over to her trainer ready for some attention. Meowth who was just being lazy on Apollo's back just wanted to go to the pokemon center. Once out they made there way to the small tree, which Apollo burned down again. "All right we are going to the pokemon center and then I think I might be calling it a night..." He looked up at the darkening sky. 'Well maybe I will read some of that diary first.' He thought with a grin.
Walking into the pokemon center Dante went up to the counter and plucked Meowth from Apollo's back and took Bahamuts pokeball from his bag. "Nurse Joy could you please heal my pokemon?"
The Nurse smiled at him. "Of course, it may take a while since there are quite a few trainers here." She said with a smile taking Meowth, who for once wasn't complaining, and Bahamuts pokeball.
That taken care of, or being taken care of Dante looked around, there did seem to be a lot of pokemon trainers in here. Shrugging he went over to a couch claiming it as his. Apollo who was following him almost the whole time caught sight of some other fire type pokemon and had wondered over to them. Levi, who was in his arms and now on his stomach as he was laying on his back just stared at Dante for a moment. "Oh yeah, I forgot something." He mumbled before reaching over into his bag. Pulling out his TM case he flipped through it for a bit before coming across a blue disk. "This is Surf, its a powerful water attack that I just know that you will make good use of." He said as he pressed the disk onto Levi's head. It glowed for a moment before it dimmed. Putting it back in its case and that back into his bag he placed the small Mudkip on the ground. "You go run along and play now." Levi just stared at him for a moment before running off to do just that.
