"It's all right Kaori. I know you meant well." Bert said sadly to Kaori.
The witch looked at Bert and said "Well, now that I have you with me I guess I'll undo the spell on you too." The witch undid the spell on Ber much more easily. Bert without his fur was nearly a sickly pale man with light brown hair and grey eyes. He had handsome features but there were still better looking en than him.
The assasins grabbed Bert and moved them to Kaori's cell. The witch looked on and said "DOn't worry, I'll take good care of you." She cackled as she left.

"what do we do now." she said looking toward the ground "bert...are you...mad at me? its just the way you looked at me. are you mad at me?" she asked looking at the ground

Bert looked down and said "I'm not mad at you. I'm just depressed that it had to be this way." Bert hugged Kaori as a tear went down his eye "I'm sorry I got you involved."

"I would get involved for you a million times." she said hugging him in return "just what do we do now, and how is she going to be able to force you to kill"

"I know exactly how she'll force me to kill. If I don't kill for her, she'll hurt you. I've spent three years trying to stay a step ahead of her and to find a cure for this curse." He said with tears in his eyes. "I could try to escape but that was how I got cursed in the first place."

"before, you didnt have me, i can silence her for a couple seconds like i did in arisa's mind, unless she has become stronger, but we would only have a couple second window that we could get away in." she said seriously

"ok so we should just wait for the witch and then when she opens the cell to get you out i can use the spell and then we can make a break for it, but odds are that she will have guards around her but dont stop to fight or else there goes our window of oppurtunity" she said thinking up a plan

"I won't need to fight. I think I could just tumble past them." Bert said confidently. "Afterwards we couldn't stop to fight after we get past her. If we get seen afterwards these guys can send messages to her instantly."

The witch came to their cell. She had four guards in tow while she opened the gate to their cell. "Well, I see the lovely young couple is all nice and comfy. Bert I have an assignment for you, you can refuse... that is if you don't mind you precious little girl getting hurt."

Dart's clone ran up to the door of the room and opened it, then slamed right into the anti-demon sield, he then remembered that shadow stalkers could pierce any anti-demon shield, so he sunk into the shadows and went right through the shield, then he got back up quickly and lunged at the witch knocking her on the ground and under him, he then lunged out a blade from his body and pierced her mouth so she couldn't speak, and he held her arms down.

The witch gazed at the dart clone with her piercing eyes and uttered a spell that made the clone teleport outside, and quickly got back up and shut the cell door and began to chant a seal that would seal anything NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, out of her head quarters if it wasnt already in there
"there that ought to hold him" the witch cackled and reopened the cell
"now where were we?" she laughed beckoning Bert
"NOWHERE, HE IS GOING NOWHERE" Kaori stood up and stared down the witch, "SILENCE!" she yelled grabbing bert up not waiting to see if the spell had worked or not.

Bert wanted to struggle but if he did it might ony hurt Kaori in the end. "Whatever you want. Just please don't hurt Kaori."

"BERT!!" she yelled "C'mon our window of opportunity is closing rapidly!!" she yelled diving back into the cage with bert and hoping the witch wouldnt do anything tooo drastic for that little outburst.
