Umi gently put a hand on Greed's shoulder. "Let's let him rest for now," she said softly. "He's exhausted. He's already gone to sleep."

Greed nodded. "Yeah. He's gone through a lot today." Greed still had a depressed frown on his face. "Umi, you do realize what I said, right?"He looked straight at her.

Umi nodded slowly. "You're saying you love me," she wispered. She thought about it for a moment. "I...I guess...no...I know...I love you too..." She looked him in the face. "Greed, I would be honored to stand beside you. No matter what."

Greed wished he could smile, but he couldn't. To much had happened. For now, he bent down a little, and kissed Umi, keeping both of his arms around her. When he pulled back, he kept his head down, and said "I will protect you, for the rest of my life, and the rest of yours."

Umi cried again, and another set of blood tears started. Startled, she looked at them as they stained her fingers red.
"Greed," she said. "I think...I think someone's dying...someone else this time."

Greed picked up Umi, and started running. "Hold on Umi, brace yourself." Greed then set off at top speed. HE whistled, calling Dorochet up. Before Dorochet had a chance to say anything, Greed shouted "Dorochet, fresh blood, We need you to find it, now!"

Dorochet nodded, recognizing a chance to redeem himself, and led them back to the hut.

Greed saw the girl covered in blood, and put Umi down. "What happened?"

"Oh, Gods, no...she didn't..."

Umi knelt beside the girl. "She's lost her arm. I cannot fix it. But I can stop the blood and close the wound," she said quietly. She laid her hands on the girl, and the wounds healed themselves. Umi sighed, and fell over, exhausted.
