Nelowulf That's a good question. Chances are we should at least think up what underground crimelords there are in this time and era... And the bothans aren't reliable, hate to break it to you. they favor people more than others, but their entire society is based on political backstabbing... I know. I was more or less looking for a neutral world where I could have a safehouse. Traditionally, Bothawui is neutral, no? As far as criminals go, I'd figure either one of your distant relatives, one of Fett's descendants, or a Hutt.

Fett was a bounty hunter, not a criminal. Difference dude.
Hutts always work, and people like Zahn and Karrde are always looking for power. So all you need is a modern day equivalent.
Bothawui is definately not a safehouse though. That is an information superhighway. Everyone has contacts there, and the minute you start landing, everyone is going to know one way or another.
Its neutral. Neutral doesn't mean safe. Big difference. The bothans are neutral. They can't afford to lose it by taking sides. Hiding you there means they'e not neutral, thus they risk the flames of the sith, and being so close to the core, they have more to worry about than you realize.

Yea, but Bothans traffic in information...having a meeting there wouldn't be any good...and I thought up one Crimelord, but he's dead... but aside from Rav we don't really have any...Perhaps an OGG entry is warranted?

Perhaps. But then again, this new friend of Cale's might provide the needed support of criminalistic nature we need....

Which is?
Okay, so Bothawui's out of question then. Where else sounds good? Ord Mantell?

PaulTheWolf5575 Too open... too much chance of getting caught...Tatooine might be doable... Okay, elt's say I chose Tatooine. It's big, empty for the most part, except for some cities here and there. It's controlled by the Hutts, so we just make up a character. Sound good?

So, therefore, Kenet's base will be on Tatooine, then? Or would there be a claimer of Jabba's legacy?

Celestia Whitesword So, therefore, Kenet's base will be on Tatooine, then? Or would there be a claimer of Jabba's legacy? The base itself won't be on Tatooine. If anything, small, easily moved, hidden, and defendable depot burried out in the Dune Sea. Jabbas' Palace is too obvious, and either destroyed, or already taken over

We could do Tatooine...but the Hutts are a problem...we could use Aquaris or Centares...Mon Gazza might work too...

All we'd need to do is work out negotiations with the Hutts, and pay them enough to shup their traps. Tell me about the others

Cale Darksun watch out for 250m long super reptiles. I'm not worried about Krayt Dragons. If anything, they're reasons not to go anywhere near my bases

Wow the plan we came up with for the Bothans is really going to put a crimp in Kenet's plans won't it Cale?
The Bothan-Hutt War with him sitting in between the two powers. We kinda figured the bothans would have become something of an expansionist power at this point, the decline of the Hutts since the Vong invasion coupled with their old alliance with the Vong make them a ripe fruit for Bothan plotters.
