Chris clapped a hand on Saint's shoulder once Lisa had left the room. "Listen," he said, "we're here for you. You let us know if you need anything, alright? We want to help you through this."

Saint flinched as Chris touched him. He let out a small squel, he hoped Chris didnt notice. He smilled politely and noded. Silently terrified he excused himself and rushed into his bathroom and closed the door as he leaned back against it he turned on the water and splashed himself with water.

Chris sighed and let his hand slide gently off Saint's shoulder. Lord, will he ever stop being afraid of us? he prayed. After a few moments, he left the room to stand out in the hall and wait for Lisa so they could finally talk.

"Ok, don't be afraid to ask for or about anything," Mrs. Perone said and walked back out ino the hallway, seeing Chris wait for her. She smiled a small smile and walked towards him, but didn't say anything, she would let him speak first.

Chris held out his arms to embrace her as she came forward. "Do we finally have a moment?" he said, smiling back at her. Maybe it was his imagination, but she looked tired and slightly stressed. It was a nice Sunday afternoon; maybe they could sit at the local park. Of course, then they would have to take any present significant others home; their rule had always been no friends in the house while parents were out. But then again, could they trust Acione and Saint? The two had broken their trust too often in the past week, and Chris had a feeling there was more to the situation than they really knew. But I suppose that's why we need to talk in the first place, Chris thought to himself ironically. For a brief moment, he thought back to when they were first married, with nothing but the rent to keep them worried.

Saint sat back up from the floor. He opened the door and peeked out. The coast was clear, and he move to his bed. He closed the door, accidentally slaming it. He winced and locked his lock. He lied down and a tear fell from his eye. He needed to get to New Mexico now...

"Hey, Day, I've got a good idea to get you away from your parents fighting, But it will have to be on Tuesday. I'll tell Saint about it too. He needs to get to New Mexico for something. I was going to get myself hurt tomorrow during the game to get out of this hell hloe that my parents are making, but New Mexico sounds much better. We could take my car there. I'm thinking Tuesday night. I could also sing at some places to make a little money while there. What do you think?" Acoine asked Day. He thought that this would be a good idea.

Lisa was so grateful to be in her husband's arms. It was there she was reminded that she was loved and looked after. "I believe we do," Lisa replied to Chris's question.

"It's a nice day," he muttered as he closed his arms around her. "We should go sit out on the porch. W-Wanna?" He smiled playfully as he alluded to a long-shared inside joke. Their first date had been a high school dance, and Chris had been so nervous that all he could do when the first slow song came on was hold out his hand, avoid eye contact, and stutter, "W-Wanna?" Now, just like back then, he waited for her response before moving.

Lisa gave Chris a big smile and laughed as she hugged him, said yes, then grabbed his hand playfully and let go before running down the stairs and to the back porch. Just because they were grown up didn't mean they couldn't have fun.

Chris's laughter echoed throughout the house as he pounded down the stairs after her. He finally caught her around the waist just after they both flew through the back door. "Gotcha!" he cried before blowing a raspberry on her cheek.

"Gotcha!" he cried before blowing a raspberry on her cheek. rofl Saint turned on his laptop and hooked up his microphone head set to the back. He never really used the "Call Out" feature, because it charged him money, but he was desperate. He didnt want to do this alone, so he oopened his door, and without looking he yelled for Ace. " Hey, Ace! Can you come up here for a second!" [[you can wait until Day replies to respond]]

"Hold on Day. I'll tell Saint my idea first." Acoine went up to saints room. "Hey Saint. I've got an idea. How about you, Day, and I head to New Mexico on Tuesday? You said you had to get there, so what do you think? I know that it's kinda later than you'd like, but I have to be in the big game first. You could bring Saphire if you wanted to."

"Great... I was going to ask you if you were willing to go." Saint said pulling a duffle bag out of his closet. "We will be gone for 2-3 days so pack for that. I have a car waiting for us. How soon can you two be ready?" he said thinking of Sapphire. She would be willing to help as long as it wouldnt get her into to much trouble.

((I'm SOOOOO Sorry! I've been SOO busy!"
Day thought about it deeply, she knew if her grades drop from being absent her dad would kill her. She was realizing though that soon enough it wouldn't matter what her dad says, or else, she just didn't care. She came to a conclusion. "Alcoine?" pausing for a second, "Sure, I'll go. I'll just talk to my mom." She knew her mom wasn't half as strict as her dad and truly believed she could get the right answer if she tried hard enough.
