Rain looked up and smiled at him. She hopped off the bed, but not before leaving Eden in what the girl felt would be a comfortable position for him. She walked over to Ryouki and grabbed him arm, thusly starting to tug on him towards the door.

Once out the hall, she continued to hold onto his arm. "You're right," she nodded. "There isn't much to go. I guess I can take you to the only area outside I'm allowed to go to." She began to walk towards the stairs at the end of the hall.

((Dude... I wouldn't be surprised if she was older than him! xd By at least a couple of months, though.))

Rain led him down the stairs and through another hallway. At then end of that hallway was a door with a window. A bright light was coming from it and it glared even brighter as she opened up the door. "Here," she said, answering his question.

As the light began to dim, the place became clear. It was a garden. An indoor garden kind of like a greenhouse because it was constantly raining outside, which would cause the plants to drown.

"We always come here to eat lunch," Rain told him about her and Ivan. "Sometimes, I even get to have my guitar lessons here. I'm going to try for it today."

Rain nodded, not really understanding what he meant by surreal. Sure, she had gained most of her vocabulary back, but there were still some "spicy" words that she had not relearned yet.

As she walked along beside Ryouki, she looked at all the colorful flowers and shrubbery that lined up along the pathways. Once in awhile, a brilliantly colored butterfly would dart past. Rain reached out her finger to one and it landed on the digit. She drew it close to study its wings, then showed it to Ryouki as if to say, "Look what I have!"

((My seventh grade English teacher called those kinds of words spicy words. razz Oh, and Maeter did compare Eureka to a butterfly, so I would figure they exist in the world of E7. It's only logical.))

((Cool! And there are weird cow things in the manga. First volume when Eureka and Renton are flying around in the Nirvash and he pulls off the cutback drop turn. I think there are animals, they're just not shown all that much, if ever.))

Rain smiled at Ryouki, then at the butterfly. She extended her arm and let the butterfly flutter off to some other area of the greenhouse.

"Oh, there's a waterfall here!" Rain stated as she suddenly remembered the fact. "Want to go see it?" Instead of waiting for an answer, Rain just tugged him along anyway. She broke into a jog and navigated herself and the boring lad behind her.

((Oh, I almost forgot. Ryouki is sooo dang BORING!! O__O))

((GAAH!! NOOO!! NOT A NEEERD!! gonk crying ))

Rain slowed down about, pondering that inquiry of his. "You know... I have no idea how they were able to do it," she said. "Magic?" Looking back at him quizically, she shrugged. She turned around again started up jogging once more.

After some more moments of that, Rain and Ryouki turned a corner and came upon an estimated ten or so feet tall waterfall. There was a pool at the basin of the water feature which branched out in two opposite ends and went off to other parts of the greenhouse. How the waterfall actually was able to work was through a filtration system like how a fountain has.

There was a bench in front of the pool and waterfall, which Rain led Ryouki to and sat down. She patted the spot next to her, indicating for him to park his carcass beside her.

Rain leaned forward to place her elbows on her knees, then followed that action by resting her head on her hands. She watched the waterfall for a moment, then looked up at Ryouki. She stared at him for a moment, the smiled. "It was just a guess," she said.

She turned her head once more and watched the falling water hit the water at the basin, creating a raging torrent. Near the edge of the pool, fish could be seen swimming under the shimmering, calmer water. "I like this place the most," she said. "It's so colorful and vibrant."

A figure then came up behind the two. "Rain," it spoke. "Time for your guitar." Rain looked behind her, giving an exasperated sigh. "Alright," she said. She took the instrument and turned around again. "I'm going to practice here. Ryouki, you can stay if you wish."

She checked the tuning to make sure it was good and readied for a song. Without hesitation, she began to pluck and strum at the strings. She pressed down on the frets when it was warranted, creating different sounds than if you just hit a string without pressing on a fret.

((Wow... long. I'm really feelin' it tonight. xp ))

((Hmm, yeah. I know what you mean. There isn't much that we can do, since this place is so... bland. And Ryouki is so BORING!! O___O))

Rain finished whatever little ditty she had started off with and began to practice her scales. Her fingers moved up and down the fretboard as she played out each note in each scale. She executed the scales with perfection and speed since she had pretty much already mastered them. It was only good to keep that up. After doing that for about ten minutes, Rain moved on to chord progressions for another ten minutes.

Time seemed to fly as she practiced the dynamics of guitar playing. After the first half hour, Rain moved back to preforming songs. Songs of all types of genres. Bluesy sounding ones, lamental sounding ones, upbeat ones. Just many different kinds of songs.

The music prodigy looked over her shoulder and at Ryouki, who looked helplessly bored. She felt sorry for him. He never asked to be her caretaker and companion. From what she could tell and heard from his personal, out spoken musings it must have been thrust upon him. He probably didn't even like looking after some girl, possibly not even the girl herself.

Rain's head snapped up and a sound very unpleasant to the hears banged out of the guitar. "Huh... wha..?" she questioned, looking around a little dazed. Rain had been in her own little world. Usually she would get like that when playing the guitar; wrapped up in her own thoughts and actions while everything else just fadded into the background.

Looking around, she finally spotted Ryouki. Following his line of sight, she saw the spider which vexed him so. She walked over to it and let it fall on her finger. Letting it crawl around a little, she brought it to Ryouki. "It's not going to hurt you," she assured him. "See?" she brought her finger, spider and all, close to him.
